If you are someone who is modest to gaming, editing, or using somewhat intensive applications on your computer than I would recommend getting the i5-9600K or i5-8600K. The i5 600K line is honestly not different at all from this. You see the performance more in this CPU if you have multiple applications open, have been streaming and playing on the same computer for a while, gaming and keeping an eye on your frames somewhat or consistently or you are an editor. Like you actually edit videos not like edit photo slide shows on windows movie maker.

I ordered three of this processor, tested them with a number of different components, and none worked. Ended up just getting an 8700k to save from more of a headache.

They sent me a replacement, first one did not work or was faulty (had to send it back). This can be the fault of the transportation sometimes, so I understand. New one is great, easy install, perfect for gaming. Thanks!

Bought this for a new PC build for my son - amazing. Paired with a Gigabyte Aorus 390 Master motherboard, Gigabyte RTX 2060 Super OC graphics card and a Samsung Evo 970 Pro M2 ssd. Fab for his first gaming PC !! Certainly flies at 5.1 Mhz !
