Im sure Im not the only person who put on a few pounds during the pandemic. So, the choice is, resign to reality and purchase a new belt until you can shed those extra pounds, or just give yourself a little grace with this little beauty and save some money until youre back in your pre-pandemic shape. I had several belts that were perfect, so I really didnt want to buy all new ones. (They are expensive, after all). So, with this, I can just add an extra hole for a bit while we get back in shape. No need to buy new belts, just customize them. This is also great for kids. This will help my son be able to use his church belt for a few extra months, if not a year just by giving it a few additional adjustment sections. One use case that a lot of folks dont consider is adjusting your shoelace patterns. There are some athletic shoes, particularly running shoes, that have unusual lace patterns that can bite across the top of my foot. With this, I can create new shoelace patterns in between the existing holes that allow the laces to avoid the sensitive areas. Also great for hockey skates, but youll need to reinforce those with rivets. All in all, this is a great little item that has paid for itself already!

This leather hole punch feels very solid and heavy duty. The handle area opens nearly too wide for my small, female hands to grip unless it’s at least halfway closed. No instructions are included, which would have been helpful for me, since I’m new to this type of tool and since there are several places on it to make adjustments that I don’t necessarily understand intuitively. The single photo of instructions found here on the product page are still a little over my non-mechanical head, but they’re better than nothing. Still, I had to ask my husband to figure out how to make adjustments and even spin the main selection wheel. Now that I know how to adjust it, this tool is fairly easy for me to operate (other than the wide grip). You’ll want to learn to select the puncher you want, select the hole size the puncher will press thru, and adjust the spacer bar for uniformity. An included Allen Wrench is cleverly stored on the handle for making certain adjustments. I own a lot of leather chokers and fashion harnesses that can’t be tightened enough to properly fit me using the provided holes, so I was eager to make new holes safely and efficiently with this tool as opposed to attempting some creative, risky endeavor I might concoct otherwise. Thankfully, this item works perfectly, and I punched all the holes I was wanting to. I know I’ll need it again in the future, so I’m glad I’ll have it so readily available. Overall, this is a fantastic leather hole puncher (in my novice opinion) that only really needs some clear instructions and maybe some accommodation for smaller hands.

Nice tool. Love the variety of sizes it has. I have one already but has been misplaced and needed another one. I have an Apple Watch and I want my son to wear it so I figured to go ahead and just hole punch into a band to endure a good fit. Plus I to make sure he doesn’t lose it. Great for wide variety of things.

This is a nice hole punch tool. I tested it on cardboard and leather and it left clean holes in both cases. The only thing Id ding it for is that it came with no instructions so it was a bit trial and error to figure out

I’m super impressed by this leather punch! I have wimpy hands and thought I would struggle to use it. I grabbed the the thickest belt I could find to see how hard it would be to make an hole in it and was completely surprised to find it punched out the hole perfectly without any issues! There’s an adjustable guide to make sure your holes stay in alignment. It doesn’t come with instructions, but it’s pretty simple to use. It’s heavy duty and made of some type of metal/steel, so I don’t see it breaking anytime soon. I totally recommend!

Took a minute to figure out how to change the punch head. But once that was done everything was a breeze from there. Not your old dads leather punch where you need pounds of pressure. Nice hard squeeze and the extra hole was in the belt. Six different hole sizes to make it easy to punch any size hole you need. Feels good in the hands. Seems petty four stars due to no instructions. Think for people that have never used one instructions would be nice.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hole punch. It seems very well made and sturdy. The jaws and punches are designed so that the rotating wheel is automatically centered when the punch is pressed down. The bottom plate is adjustable so it can match the selected hole size and be set to line up correctly with the punches as well. It also has an adjustable depth gauge and an adjustable stop to prevent the punch from opening too far and accidentally changing the selected punch. Perhaps other rotating punches have some of these same features, this is the first one Ive owned so I couldnt say - but I can say Im quite pleased with this one. I tested it on a small strip of tooling leather I had lying around and learned about all of its features. It makes holes of six different sizes - from 2.0mm to 4.5mm in increments of 0.5mm. Match the punch and bottom plate correctly and you can make some nice clean holes with this punch.

I am very pleased with all of the quality features of this hand operated hole punch. Many of the hole punches I have used in the past have been sharpened hollow tubes that cut through the material forcing the “hole” up through the tube while pressing the sharpened edge against a flat surface (usually of solid metal). This often results in a slightly frayed edge on the hole where part of the sharpened edge didn’t quite touch the surface. And this only gets worse with more use because the blade gets dulled by being pressed against the supporting surface. This hole punch operates differently: the beveled punch head cuts through the material at a dual angle (which helps maintain a straight edged cut) and then pushes the “hole” down through a matching hole in the supporting surface in a scissoring action and forcing the waste “hole” freely out of the tool. Each of the “punch” sizes has a matching “hole” that avoids any metal to metal contact - the punch slides freely through the matching hole - thus preventing any dulling of the punch caused by the working of the tool itself. There is, also, an adjustable throat depth guide to keep a series of holes spaced exactly the same distance away from the guide edge. This is an exceptionally well designed tool.
