OMG I have had numerous litter scoops, all pretty much worthless. I was in shock the first time I used this scoop. STURDY, ERGONOMIC AND EASY TO HOLD just like noted above. I use Sustainably Yours cat litter and let me tell you the multi-cat large grain gets rock hard! This scoop easily cleaned the litter box FAST! I love it! I THOUGHT I HAD FINALLY FOUND A REALLY GOOD SCOOP. FOUND OUT THERE WAS SOMETHING OUT THERE THAT WAS BETTER. I HAVE 3 LARGE CAT BOXES AND DECIDED I SHOULD PURCHASE ANOTHER ONE SINCE I KEEP FORGETTING TO GRAB THE ONE I HAVE AND HAVE TO GO BACK TO GET IT. THIS SCOOP CUTS RIGHT THROUGH EVERYTHING. LARGE ENOUGH AND DEEP ENOUGH TO HOLD EVERYTHING AND SIFT OFF THE DRY LITTER. SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A METAL SCOOP A LONG TIME AGO. THE LARGER SIZE CUTS DOWN ON SCOOPING TIME. I HAVE NOTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT THIS SCOOP. THE CADY THAT I BOUGHT WITH IT IS ALSO GREAT. WILL CLEAN EASILY.

Construction and hanger

Cat presents have always been a problem to clean. The shovels made of plastic bend and are hard to clean. I have 4 cats in the house with 2 very large litter boxes that are cleaned every day. I clean the shovels outside every 2 days with a hose on the hard stream. Cleaning left over poop isnt a problem, bending or breaking cat shovels is never considered. I own 2 now, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs.

If your cat takes human size poops like man does, then you need this shovel. The size is perfect for scooping, the poop doesnt stick to it and it comes with a wall mount. Excellent value for the price. Very satisfied with this purchase.

This is the first scoop I have experienced that feels good in my hand and does a good job. It is light weight , sturdy and just the right size and shape. The rounded corners are a plus and it is easy to clean. ~Only receiving 4 stars because my first one’s handle broke off the scoop after 3 years. Three years of solid service is good however and so I ordered another…delighted when it arrived today!

I love the peoduct. The stainless steel non stick scooper is fantastic along with the stainless steel litter box. I use the litter that clumps and makes the job faster and easier. No more anxiety cleaning the litter. Im a happy camper Thanks Iprimio. Linda P.

This scooper does an excellent job with corners. It scrapes litter off the bottom of the box with ease. One of my litter boxes is an older, large rectangular box with straight sides and this scoop is ideal for it. It bulldozes through the litter and is so wide it can do the whole box in 3 passes. If I were only cleaning out the poo and large clumps, I could be done in 12 seconds. As I use clumping clay litter (Dr Evseys or Integrity), the soiled litter can break off into small bits, and cleaning those out takes more time. I was afraid that the wide spacing between the slots would be too wide for the tiny bits, but Ive found that if I go through the litter a few times and change directions (left to right as well as up and down) I can remove all the tiny bits of soiled litter. My other litterbox is a newer design with curved edges, slanted sides and rounded corners. The straight sides of this scoop are less ideal for the shape of this box--but handle it fine. For this box I scoop in a different direction, use shorter strokes and take a little more time--not a problem. My older litter scoop has rounded corners, which in some ways makes it better for the newer, rounded litterbox, BUT this newer scoop is still faster. This new scoop, with its wide, sturdy, straight edge is much better at scraping stuck litter from the bottom of the box and because the spade is so much bigger than my old scoop, it requires far fewer strokes. The spade of this scoop is HUGE. Its about 5 inches wide by almost 6 inches long by almost 2 inches deep. It is much, MUCH BIGGER than my older scoop. It is also heavier. My cat sitter said she finds it a little too heavy (she prefers a plastic scoop, but I find those to be too flimsy). The weight isnt a problem for me, but I think if this spade were a bit smaller (maybe 3/4ths the size?) I might find it easier to scoop in different directions. If the space between tines were a little narrower, it might require fewer passes, but then it might not work as well with some of the other types of litter. Because its a little heavy and a little big and Im not sure about the spacing, I would give it 4-1/2 stars instead of 5. Overall, Im pleased with this scoop. Its sturdy. It looks like a lot of thought went into it and it feels like a quality product. I chose this design over the older ones by iPrimio because the tines are shaped (reminds me slightly of the shape of my tangle-free hair comb). Im not sure if the shaped tines help it to move through the litter, but I was impressed by how easily it plows through. Despite the Teflon coating, some litter does stick to the spade (but clumping clay litter always sticks--some brands more than others), so I dont use the holder (I prefer a bowl, to catch any litter that might fall off). I find most of any stuck litter comes off as I paw through the litter. I can scrape it off (or I assume it will wash off). The handle is ergonomic. Its a little wider than I prefer, but I have smaller hands than most people and I can grip it further down without a problem. Its a good scoop. I would recommend it to my friends.

easy to handle and does a great job

This litter scoop is everything the manufacturer said it is. I have used many litter scoops over the last 40 years but this one is the best. I love the narrow distance between the tines, good handle grip, and that it is mostly nonstick. You cant go wrong with this purchase.
