> 3 dayOverall this is an excellent product. I can set it do work while Im away from home. Its quieter than my stand up vacuum and can get to hard to reach places like under my fireplace bench. It does have mapping just not the smart mapping that all the other reviews said it as missing. You have the option to join beta testing through the app so who knows maybe itll be added one day. Pros: Self-emptying and charging picks-up pet hair and dirt motivates me to clean where is robot cant go (like my stairs) scheduled cleanings easily done through the app teamwork-I can focus on other areas of my house to clean while to robot is working Cons: Culture of waste created by the company to make profit. The replaceable parts are purposely not meant to last. I can already see that the brushes will need to be replaced in 6 months or less. (Ive had this robot for about a week) Dust bags are disposable not reusable for the i4 Considering all the replacement part youll have to buy over the life time of the product the price point is too high.

> 3 dayIt just quit. The company sent a new battery but it did not fix the problem, now the year warranty is out. Going to have to use the extended warranty that I have.

> 3 dayExpectations: robot silently keeps the house clean with a 45 day auto emptying bag. Reality: noise levels are uncomfortable on hardwood or carpet. Takes an hour to clean 400 square feet, then gets tangled in hair and requires manual service. It will not set up without wifi, I spent over an hour trying to use a hotspot, it would not go though activation, so a couple times I did run it manually by pushing the button. One thing I did not hear mentioned is the NOISE, that thing is whirring, sucking and bumping into objects. It’s not pleasant to be in the same apartment while it cleans, definitely not for a work from home arrangement. What prompted me to write this review is the fact that the first ever scheduled run after connecting to wifi simply failed. I come in and find the robot dead. Later I see a notification on my phone with a cleaning instructions. I ended up taking out both brushes and cutting the hair which is tangled at both bases. Previously I cut hair from the triangular spinner. So here goes my dream of low maintenance automatic cleaning. I thought it would keep cleaning for over a month before needing my attention .The hair (over 20 inches long) is not going away. So it will keep jamming every few runs. The speed is not great, our house is mostly empty hardwood with some rugs. The history says it cleaned 400 square feet in an hour. None of the jobs ever were completed, mostly because I got tired of the noise. I moved the base station a number of times, and each map is broken, looks like I need to do another reset after finding a permanent position. Overall, mediocre. I hope the motor would not burn out due to the hair situation

Greater than one weekI figured after the length of time this thing has been around most of the bugs would be worked out. Apparently not. I would not recommend if you have a lot of furniture or throw rugs. This may work well for large empty rooms but not much else. Constantly needs brushes cleaned (mostly long hair) and in the middle of certain rugs just detects a drop off and stops. Once you move it to new location near where it was it loses its ability to detect where it is and abandons the job. Cant finish 4 rooms without recharging first, even though I assume thats because of some throw rugs and bumping into things 100s of times. I can understand chairs and things that can move around and be a problem but walls and things like washers and dryers are pretty stationary. Oh well, gave it a try to see where the technology was and apparently they have a long way to go. Dont waste your money.

> 3 dayThis is probably my first 1 star review on Amazon. We were so disappointed. We had an Ecovac w 2 brushes that worked amazingly. It would only get stuck if it climbed over a cord or bulk that it couldnt get over. This roomba only has 1 brush and stops if theres anything AT ALL in the eay. A line needle or piece of a leaf and rooba cries for help dies in place and after 2 months of owning this overpriced piece of junk, we have yet to get it to clean a sinlge room! It has all the bells and whistles but cannot do its basic function. I thought we would try out the name brand and we are very fisappointed. The only reaspn we replaced our ecovac was because it was an older model thst did not work with 5G at our new home. Will never buy roomba again.

Great but broke
> 3 dayThis roomba was amazing, it mapped out our whole apt and would vacuum everything - so easy to turn it on and leave for the morning. It is a bit loud, so we can’t run it while we are in the same space; our dog also hates it. We did have to return it within a month because our left wheel died, but will be getting another one.

> 3 daySo I’ve been eyeing these vacuums for a while. We are a family of 4, 2 young kids, 2 cats and 1 dog. I was tired of vacuuming and arguing with my SO over vacuuming so invested in one of these. Pros: Easy to set up Vacuum collection is great as you dont need to empty the robot all the time Suction is good. Even sucked to the cat litter up! Managed to navigate the tile to the hardwood which is a big ledge. Downside: I felt like it cleaned my kitchen 8x before venturing into the living room. The whole “goes in rows” didn’t seem to work well as I was watching the machine like a hawk and it didn’t just go in rows. When the machine did make it the living room, it kept diverting back to the kitchen… not sure why. Lastly, after a 56 minute constant clean, the robot didn’t make it back to home base to change. It just died on the floor and I had to pick it up. Lastly, because it kept circulating the kitchen, in the 58 minute clean it never made it to the living room. As a result, I persuaded my SO to buy me the upgraded j6 in hope for a better performance to fix all my complains. Standby for that post.
