I found this book after researching ideas for Christmas gift giving. The book is easy to follow and the process described does, indeed, allow the reader to produce cloth baskets worthy of giving -- I adore the creative aspects of choosing designs and embellishments. The baskets also dont take long to make -- Ive finished some, including embellishments, in less than six hours.

I bought this book for my wife for a birthday present, as she had seen bowls made using this technique. So far, she really likes the book, and has made many different shapes of bowls, using different kinds of rope, and various scraps of fabric.

Clear and to the point. The embellishments make the pieces extra special! Starting the wrapping is slow, but you build momentum and it is a good project watching TV!
