I have a 27in 4k LG that has HDMI, USB, and DisplayPort inputs. I have a MBP 16in. I tried the USB-C cable included with the monitor directly to the MBP thunderbolt to try to drive the monitor. I tried an HDMI cable included with the monitor connected through an Anker adaptor to thunderbolt on the computer to try to drive the monitor. Both options had limited success, with the Anker adaptor giving some serious problems. This iVANKY USB-C to HDMI adaptor worked to drive the monitor with all of its options fully accessible. It has a solid-feeling physical construction.

Dock exceeded my expectations. This isnt a flimsy plastic dock, this thing is solid. USB cord is thick and braided, dock does not get warm when using the official steam dock charger like some of the cheaper docks. Getting 1gbps ethernet. Havent hooked it up to my 4k tv yet to see if it is 60hz but instruction manual says it is. Overall pleased with my purchase.

Tried to watch TV with my phone but it didnt work on any tv

Just get it. It works with my s20+ perfectly.

Purchased this several months ago with the idea to use this as the weather warmed up and use it for my LCD projector for outdoor movies connect to my Samsung Galaxy S10+. Just now tried to use this to my projector. Compatibility list shows it should work but doesnt. Even if I manually launch Samsung Dex it doesnt work. I also tried to use adapter for a monitor and it also doesnt work. Looks like Ill toss this in with all the other adapters I no longer use.

I bought this to connect my chromebook to my classroom tv. Any time I shift a window size everything garbles (size of windows, what is on which screen, etc...). So it is limited use, but does at least work to some extent.

Before settling on this dock, I spent a lot of time looking and researching options. Since utilizing this dock now for about two months, I no longer feel the need to look for anything. To be honest, I was only looking for something until Steam launched their version of the dock. Not only does this dock work well, but it also looks good and doesnt have any odd branding. On my deck, I have a silicone case, and I havent had any trouble docking it or connecting the charge/data cable.

Didnt work for my PC on Windows 11. Used a different product.

I wanted to use my ipad to view the movies i have downloaded to view on the hotel TV while out of town. This was something small that left a big impression.

Works good with s8+ and note 20 ultra.
