Picture transmition from hdmi to this adapter is really bad, constant glitches while watching videos. Its completely unusable and not recomended to use with any hdmi. Specially on 4k resolution it symply makes expereience unwatchable, once plugged screen cannot go over 30 hertz.

It works .... kind of. I have a 1080 screen, and when I plug it in, it doesnt recognize things correctly, the screen seems to be split in half. I can fix this by changing the resolution to 720 and then back to 1080, and it will then work as expected. Needing to do this every time is annoying though. I give it 3 stars because I do have a work around, though annoying.

Wonderful product. There seem to be a dozen of these adapters that support 4k@30hz... which is annoyingly flickery.... but very few that support 4k@60hz and this one delivers!

I wanted to use my ipad to view the movies i have downloaded to view on the hotel TV while out of town. This was something small that left a big impression.

    Greater than one week

Ordered this 3 times finally they shipped the right one, use this adapter to hook up with an extra monitor and run at 60Hz, Or you can use it with a mirrorless camera and turns it into a webcam (Check Camera Model and Software compatibility)

Before settling on this dock, I spent a lot of time looking and researching options. Since utilizing this dock now for about two months, I no longer feel the need to look for anything. To be honest, I was only looking for something until Steam launched their version of the dock. Not only does this dock work well, but it also looks good and doesnt have any odd branding. On my deck, I have a silicone case, and I havent had any trouble docking it or connecting the charge/data cable.
