This dongle is perfect for going from any newer Mac to HDMI. I use it for presentations, working from home, and general surfing from the couch on my MBP to 55 HDTV. Theres zero lag, no audio interference, and the build quality is top notch. The wire is covered with insulation and a substantial amount of braided fabric, while the connectors are metal and beefy and capped appropriately from the factory. This is not the first iVANKY dongle Ive ordered and likely wont be the last of their products I do. Shipping is fast, price is right, and quality is on-par (or better, really) than OEM Apple peripherals.

I love streaming games from my phone to my tv. This dock is FANTASTIC for that. It keeps my phone in place and charges it while I play. The USB connections are a great feature. The HDMI is even better for connecting things to a tv. The dock stays in place and looks fantastic. It has been such a great addition that I may to order another one because my wife has been borrowing it to stream her shows to the tv while she cleans.

Dock exceeded my expectations. This isnt a flimsy plastic dock, this thing is solid. USB cord is thick and braided, dock does not get warm when using the official steam dock charger like some of the cheaper docks. Getting 1gbps ethernet. Havent hooked it up to my 4k tv yet to see if it is 60hz but instruction manual says it is. Overall pleased with my purchase.

My computer only has type-c slots, and this adapter has been working great to connect to a monitor or a TV.

Can the cord work with a google pixel 4? It says that nothing is connected when I connect my phone to it but it works fantastic with my laptop but my laptop has a hdmi port so I definitely wasnt getting it for my laptop.

This device is exactly what I needed to connect my MacAir with a bigger monitor for better visibility as I work. At first, the device did not seem to be working. However, the customer service for the device was very responsive - answering my email promptly and the problem was resolved. It was a matter of proper instructions.
