> 3 dayNot sure if the individual containers should have been sealed, but none of mine were. They opened very easily with NO seals. Containers were less than half filled and black had the least amount of powder.

> 3 dayI was not aware that that protein items (wool, etc) needed to be dyed with acid dye. I had curly wool locks that were natural white and wanted black. I used FAR less powder dye than recommended on the instructions/Jacquard website and still the wool did not absorb all of it so I have it in a jar to use again! Excellent deep color.

> 3 dayMy first job went ok..at least its still got color on it :/ The colors went on vibrant and came out dull. Not very pretty. I tried a red and yellow and ALL the red washed out :( I did everything as instructed by the bottles :( My fabric is organic bamboo velour.

> 3 dayI needed red and the ad said it had red. It came with fuchsia and that isn’t RED! I didn’t need the other colors now but I will in the future. A disappointment. Ordered the red and got my yarn dyed with it!

> 3 dayMy assortment arrived with Fire Red dye instead of the Hot Fuchsia pictured on Amazon’s product photograph (the other three dyes were correct). This is a problem since Hot Fuchsia is required to mix many of the colors shown on the Jacquard color mixing wheel. I suppose I will have to separately purchase Hot Fuchsia dye (if it ever becomes available on Amazon) if I am to get any use out of this dye set.

> 3 dayTerrific value here at Amazon, with a mordant thrown in! Remember that acid dyes can be used with the mordant provided, or with simple household white vinegar. The acid is not in the dye, its all about the mordants. A nice set if youre jumping into dyeing and dont want to invest too much at the start. Remember that your primary colors will be enough to get secondary colors, but to get shades (black or grey added to the hue) or tints (adding white to the hue) you need to expand your dye supply to include those blending colors.
