I used it to dye old hair extension feathers. The pigment is excellent, just a tiny amount was enough. Easy to use, no mess.

I almost gave it 3 stars because the colors seem to break and at times, especially when mixing. I cant seem to get good coverage on all batches. However, I gave it a 4 because I need to dye more wool and do a few things differently next time to see if it was user error to be fair. I didnt give 5 stars because there are no instructions included with the set and you have to go online to get them. They also arent the greatest of instructions. On a good note, the colors when they strike properly are as they should be. If I were starting out dying, I wouldnt be afraid to purchase this set.

I was not aware that that protein items (wool, etc) needed to be dyed with acid dye. I had curly wool locks that were natural white and wanted black. I used FAR less powder dye than recommended on the instructions/Jacquard website and still the wool did not absorb all of it so I have it in a jar to use again! Excellent deep color.

These are beautiful, vibrant colors! I mixed the dyes to achieve the hues I wanted. They are easy to use and inexpensive. I definitely will be buying again.

I needed red and the ad said it had red. It came with fuchsia and that isn’t RED! I didn’t need the other colors now but I will in the future. A disappointment. Ordered the red and got my yarn dyed with it!

I am a wool snob and have been for 65+ yrs. other fibers dont please me. The smell of wet wool is one of my favorites. Natural dyeing began the odyssey, but the color range is limited and mordants are, well - dangerous. Acid dyes for wool are magnificent and Jacquard are tried and true. Predictable. Repeatable. Luscious colors. Nuff said.
