Greater than one weekThe bag is a great size for my high school student who carries all his binders with him during the day and doesn’t use a locker. I bought him black so it would not show a lot of dirt or stains. When I opened it up, I discovered the lining is white in all pockets. I can see how it could be useful when you are looking for items. However, this bag is for a teenager and I am expecting the liner to look gross in a matter of a day or two. I will keep it because our delivery time was already delayed and his other bag is broken. I trust Jansport as a quality brand but I am not on board with white liners!

> 3 dayI’ve had this for 4 years and it hasn’t shredded or ripped anywhere. I’m not especially careful with it either. Fits my giant laptop and iPad and still has tons of space. Used for college, travel, flights, anything at all. It’s a go-to.

> 3 dayOverall, this backpack is made very well and I will definitely use it. However, I wish I had paid a little more attention to a close-up photo of it because I might have noticed that the zippers are hidden by fabric. Aesthetically this is wonderful but practically it’s not. The fabric is a little stiffer than it looks to be in the photos. That shouldn’t be a downside, except it’s kind of hard to zip and unzip the pockets because you have to keep pushing the somewhat stiff fabric out of the way. Even when it was full, I had to tussle with the zipper a bit. I’ve used it for several days now, and it takes more time than I would like to get everything zipped up and then later get everything zipped open without having to mess with the fabric. I hope the fabric becomes a little less stiff with age, or I can picture myself becoming very frustrated with it the more times I use it. If I had seen this at the store and played with it a bit I would not have purchased it. Other than that, I would’ve given it five stars because it is very roomy, the straps are great, and it has some great pockets, although I would’ve liked a few hidden ones inside a couple of the pouches.

Greater than one weekI spent more than I would normally spend bc Jansport backpacks just hold up SO much better than cheaper generic brand backpacks. I have a 6th grader who has only carried jansport and both since kindergarten are in like new condition. She wanted a Grey backpack for middle school so I got her and off brand backpack that got great reviews a strap ripped off and zipper broke half way through the school year so I got her this jansport as a replacement and I am uper satisfied with my purchase, I highly recommend it!!
