Great size for everything I need i carry it to and from Im work and i have had no issues yet

Love the style, but Jansports new material is less flexible than its more denim like material of the old days. Perhaps its because of the pattern I picked. This lack of flexibility was not taken into account for the design of the zippers. The material now has to be physically pulled back to open zipper. In an pinch its awkward to fumble with.

This one it perfect, love all the different pockets/options.

We had ordered another backpack prior to ordering this. It looked great, but was too small. I chose this backpack by reviews and reputation. We ordered the black and the insides are white which was a bad choice in my opinion The interior is this and does not have great pencil etc storage like his previous backpacks. It seems to have a laptop pouch with no protection. The zippers are a bit awkward as other reviews have stated. It is a lot to do with the covering lip that goes over them which is great for protection, but may not be great for kids who get material caught in zippers. It is a bit smaller than I thought, but does hold my sons 2 inch binder a lot of previous backpacks do not have a wide enough opening so this was a plus. My older son came home with the same backpack that was black, but white on the front. It was dirty looking on the white he said it does not clean well, but he has a few years and somewhat happy with it. My biggest complaint at this time would be the white thin inside material just why would you do this and it needs to be more obvious that it has white inside. It reminds me of an old cheap purse lining. I imagine it will show pen marks etc and be hard to clean stains, but we will see. The handle on the top is so so and comfort padding for straps and back seem somewhat lacking. He has only carried a couple of weeks so I will try to remember to update this review.

We have used it for half a year. It is just like new. There is no any thread coming out and each pocket is still in good shape. It looks very nice and the material seems better than others I have returned already. The bottom piece is very important so that the backpack can be left on the floor without wear and tear.

When I try to zip open any section of the backpack, it gets caught, even when closing it. As a high school student who only has 3 minutes to get to your next class I am worried this will make me late.

This one has a nice leather bottom, decent sized and arranged pockets, and the construction is pretty good. Hopefully it will hold up as long as some of the ones I had for a couple of decades did before they began to have issues.
