This is a great hair gel. Hair wont feel super hard like using any other gels.

Holds up pretty well. Smells delicious. My husband and kids use it

I love this product. Great smell, it doesn’t leave such a harsh residue in your hair at the end of the day, and it easy to take through the hair. The only reason it isn’t 5 is because it isn’t the craziest hold throughout the day. If you’re just using it to look presentable for work or something, it’s amazing, if you’re going to go to the gym and then expect it’s to hold all day, it won’t last. Just depends on what you’re looking for

Love the Johnny B line of products. This is not as good as the original but is still a fine product.

Bought this for my 10 yr old and 8 yr old boys to help them with styling their hair. Love it! It smells super good and hold their hair through the whole day at school and sometimes even through a two hour practice. Husband ended up trying it and loving it too! Will be buying more

Had a great scent but unfortunately the hold isn’t that great, I have a hard part, medium length hair and combed to the side with the sides faded and it just doesn’t hold that great in my opinion. Hey Johnny B make the hood better and I will buy your product all of the time.

Ive used Johnny B Mode for years but have recently begun to experience some breakouts on my scalp. After months of experimenting, I traced it to being Mode as the culprit. I order this King Mode version in hopes that the different perfume used in it might fix my issue. The jury is still out.... As with regular Mode, this version is feels like a cross between a gel and pomade. It offers high gloss look that lasts all day (and probably longer). Even though it is supposedly water soluble, it does not come out of your hair or off your hands very easily. This is great for styling but annoying for washing your hands and hair. Im not a big fan of King Modes scent. Its certainly not worth any sort of price premium compared to regular Mode. Its more towards an Acqua di Gio type of scent. It not offensive by any means, just not my style and a little overpowering. 4 stars for the performance of the product, 2 stars for the scent = 3 stars here on Amazon. Johnny B if youre listening, please begin to offer your products scent free!
