The scent is great. I feel the density is less than the original blue gel. The best thing I like about this product is it does not create white flakes in your hair. I coach a wrestling team and tend to be physically active. Hair structure goes out the window through intense practice and i have never had any annoying flakes. It holds well through the workday.

I’ve been using this hair gel for a few years and love it. The hold strength and scent. I always get complimented on the scent. The only thing was the shipping was HORRIBLE. The package arrived damaged and the lid broken and cracked so it doesn’t seal. I didn’t bother shipping it back because I needed gel. I’m not giving the product itself any negative reviews, but Amazon needs to double check their packaging when shipping things like this.

The styling hold works well but the scent is way too strong for me. Its not a bad scent, but it is like a heavy, fancy cologne. (I usually spritz a light lemony cologne.) And it doesnt fade. This was so strong that I had to wash it out; cannot use this. A surprise, because my prior Johnny B gel scents were great.

Its better then the original Jonny b mode

The gel just looks like you put water on your hair but isn’t stiff enough to mold the hair or give it any volume sadly. Longevity on my 11 year old boy was maybe an hour.

My partner loves this hair gel and recommends, quality is decent and easy to take off, compare to others.
