JOHNNY B. King Mode Hair Styling Gel 32 oz.

I like the product but after I purchased it on Amazon, I discovered Supercuts was selling it for $3 less. My fault for not checking.

I actually purchased the wrong gel, but have been very happy with this product. The scent is amazing, and the hold is great. I have let my hair grow out and this keeps my hair in place how after I style it.

I love Johnny B Mode gel. My barber put me on this product and I havent turned back. If you have hair that needs strong hold, this is your gel. I started off with the blue gel. That scent was pleasant but manly. Something I can confidently wear all day. King mode also has a great scent. Its fresh and clean. BUT, I think its a little on the strong side. This may be a good or bad thing. Its not over powering, but where I would go nose blind to the blue gel, I get wafts of this stuff all day. Again, not a bad thing, but it makes me wonder if its a little too strong. My wife says no though. So go figure.

Easy to use and easy to wash off. Smells great and has a mild hold

My barber uses this gel on me every time I get my hair cut. I love the smell of it and it last all day and doesnt flake at all. It works so good that if I fall asleep without washing it out. It still stays the same,

Ive used Johnny B Mode for years but have recently begun to experience some breakouts on my scalp. After months of experimenting, I traced it to being Mode as the culprit. I order this King Mode version in hopes that the different perfume used in it might fix my issue. The jury is still out.... As with regular Mode, this version is feels like a cross between a gel and pomade. It offers high gloss look that lasts all day (and probably longer). Even though it is supposedly water soluble, it does not come out of your hair or off your hands very easily. This is great for styling but annoying for washing your hands and hair. Im not a big fan of King Modes scent. Its certainly not worth any sort of price premium compared to regular Mode. Its more towards an Acqua di Gio type of scent. It not offensive by any means, just not my style and a little overpowering. 4 stars for the performance of the product, 2 stars for the scent = 3 stars here on Amazon. Johnny B if youre listening, please begin to offer your products scent free!

Solid hold. Smells great. Washes off easily.

I love Jhonny B products, however this Gel Smells like Grandmas 60s perfume. Strong scented and can almost effect a whole room with the smell. Just beware before you buy.
