I bought two of these since one was not enough for my pythons 36x18x18 terrarium. Together, they help to maintain the layer between my soil and drainage layer, allowing me to create a bioactive enclosure that will suit a growing spotted python.

Inexpensive and does exactly what its intended to do. I will be buying this again for my next bioactive build.

Don’t waste your time or money with this product. I have to now remove all of my plants and substrate to remove this barrier and replace it with something else because this will not let a SINGLE drop of water through. What is the purpose of a false bottom if water can’t get past the barrier?

This is literally just a small piece of the cheapest style of landscaping fabric. its not even cut square... A 50 foot roll will run you about the same price at a home improvement store.

It’s really good substrate barrier, the only problem is it was hard for me to make it flat and also put enough and still have it be flat. It comes in little balls and it’s like trying to make a layer of coco puffs flat.

Do yourself a favor and save some money, this is basically a piece of landscape fabric, you can buy an entire roll of it at the big box stores for the price of this small square.

I like, it is needed to establish a more perfect bio environment.

This was nothing but a con job, this was a very poorly (sloppy as all get out) hand cut piece of ultra thin weed barrier from like a Family Dollar where it will cost $5 for a 24 x 50 foot roll. I am angry that they sent me this useless overpriced junk. Screw you Joshs Frogs, your sloppy gougey repackage job sucks and you should be ashamed! I bought 5 of these for $8 each, OUCH!

I suppose it did the job for my 2 ft diameter hexagon shaped aquarium but just barely. Super small piece for the price. Would not buy it again. Will find a better deal elsewhere.
