> 24 hourI like and use this barrier in my snake’s vivarium. It works really well keeping the dirt out of my false bottom. I understand it’s supposed to allow moisture through but it is quite thin. I’d have liked it a little thicker but it does it’s job and I’m happy regardless.

> 24 hourI thought this would be way more material and would at least attempt to compete on the price tag with others who offer the same material at a lower cost for more than youll get here. Nope. Ill not be buying this again.

> 24 hourI wish I had taken a better picture. But I use the substrate barrier for many terrariums and habitats. Placed over the false bottom substrates then using Josh’s mixes to top it.

> 24 hourWell this definitely works as a barrier, because it doesnt let anything through. Even water. I cut it to size, placed it over the top of my drainage layer, and decided to test it before adding all my substrate. Im really glad that I did that now. After I poured a bit of water on top, it pooled up on the barrier and did not go through. I figured it might just be slowly trickling down so I left it overnight and the water was still standing on top the next day. Unfortunately that defeats the purpose of using it over a drainage layer.
