I hate this razor. Hard to hold. Not a close shave.

I used it on my legs.

I saw some reviews that rated the razor poorly. It is exactly as described, a razor handle with a 5 blade razor (Gillette). I dont care if the blades have a blue strip, they are top of the line Gillette blades and can be replaced at the store. The handle is big enough and heavy enough to comfortably grip. Thus I got what I wanted, a good priced razor that is comfortable to use that works.

It works good. I ordered blue but got pink. Didnt feel like returning it cause it still does the job.

This joy Womens Razor Handle + 4 Razor Blade Refills is a fantastic razor for women because the handle will NOT slip in your hand and the 5 blades give a close, smooth, shave without any irritation. So first off, joy is made by Proctor & Gamble, which also owns Gillette. You will see that the cartridges say Gillette on them and the razor says joy and Gillette. This is a Gillette razor that is made especially for women, who often shave much larger areas of the body. The handle is amazing. Its lightweight plastic but its covered in thick silicone so it wont slip out of your hand when youre shaving. The shaving end has a unique design so it pivots over curves and bumps like knees and ankles. There is a button you push to eject the blade cartridge when its time for a new one. The cartridges have 5 blades so you get a really close shave. There is also a lubricating strip which helps prevent irritation because the razor just glides over your skin. It even comes with a suction cup, razor, holder so you can hang your razor to dry in the shower or at the tub. A couple of odd things - first the color says teal but its definitely not. It looks more like a pale, mint, green to me. And the suction cup razor holder is an orchid color. None of this affects the performance but if color is important to you, you should know this. Second, I only got 2 cartridges. It could be because I received this through the Amazon Vine program but I suggest opening yours immediately to make sure it has all four cartridges included. Otherwise, I LOVE this razor. I havent nicked myself once and no razor burn or irritation.

I wanted to try something different. These blades are super cheap. Flimsy. Its like the almost rattle or vibrate when you shave. The shave isnt close and tends to leave razor burn.

Came in the joy box, but when I pulled the razors out- they were Gillette brand and would not fit my razor. Major bummer. Would not order again.

Works great and love it!

While this doesnt come first place to the razors Ive used, it come pretty close. The lubrastrip glides the razor smoothly and seems to maximize the comfort. As for close shave this falls behind Gillette (which this blade fits the handle) and comes right after my favorite dollar shave club.

I don’t typically write bad reviews but I’m pretty disappointed. I should have stuck with the Gillette razor, but wanted to give this a go and try something new. Turns out that was a bad idea. I broke out in a rash under my arms right after use, which never happens with other razors I’ve used. This thing is going straight in the trash. Waste of money.
