    Easy to install

Home button was attached but no finger print reading function. It should be separately packed rather than glued. This should be as an option for those who does not have home button.

Love the attached adhesive tape that gave me a professional tightness.

Seemed like good quality but there were no Instructions included. I emailed and they said to search YouTube. However it is hard to refer to a YouTube video while you are taking apart the iPad that you use for that. I spent four meticulous hours, and thought it went well and looked good, but my iPad was dead and is now in the trash. Worth a shot I guess, but ultimately a fail.

Loved the screen works perfect and considering this is the first time I ever replaced a screen before came out exactly the way it should... I guess the only thing that would of been like the cherry on top would of been If it came with some sort of instructions to replace it.. but eather way you can find the how to videos on YouTube... definitely grate product though

The kit works, but the instructions leave some to be desired. For example, they show you cutting the old one loose with a razor blade, be careful how deep you go, I was lucky. Make sure you use the included red double-sided tape or it will come apart. The ipad works, but randomly shuts off!

Product came with instructions on how to disassemble everything but not reassemble, and for people who aren’t used to rewiring, this is a problem. Even after going on YouTube it still took a while to sort out. And just a heads up, just because you use a hair dryer to loosen up the screen glue doesn’t mean it will come up easily. I had small bits of cracked glass everywhere so there’s definitely no turning back and using the old screen again (see photo). When I finally had everything reassembled, the touch screen is too sensitive to even use- I click on one item and it jumps ahead by a few more (another reviewer also had this issue). A small portion of the screen doesn’t even respond to touch anymore. Do yourself a favor and just pay the extra for the pros to do it.

This is my second time doing the install, only place I have trouble is the cable that connects to the home button. Keeping that tucked is a real pain. Other than that the glue they include is top notch and everything fit perfectly. I do recommend using a heat gun vs a hair dryer. Made a world of difference.
