If you like coffee and you you pay extra for better coffee… You should buy yourself a Kalita! Hands down the best cup of coffee.

There’s a few great things about these filters: 1. They leave no sludge, whatsoever. 2. They’re thinner & smaller than chemex so they consume less water and go far quicker. 3. Since they’re pleated (waves) they don’t sit against the coffee maker and drop the temperature as much. In my experience, with 850ml of water over 40g of coffee I only lose about 50ml of water with these. Comparatively, with a chemex, I lose close too 100ml for the same amount of grounds because their filters are probably 3x as thick and more than twice as large, unnecessarily.

I wouldnt use any other filter with my Kalita pour over. Fits perfectly and does exactly what it needs to do.

Nice, but necessary to buy this brand? I bought this as a recommended complimentary product for the Kalita Wave 185 Dripper, thinking they were shaped to take advantage of the drippers unique shape. They appear to be bleached small size drip coffee filters. Reading that the brown unbleached type is better, when my supply of this product is exhausted, I will try the inexpensive store bought unbleached drip coffee filter sold by the gross at my local grocery stores coffee aisle and see how they work with my Kalita Wave 185 Dripper.

This works perfect for the OXO Pour Over Coffee setup. They no longer make filters (even though they still sell the drip set) so this is a PERFECT match for the glass drip portion. MUST BUY if you have that item! I also only buy this when it is $9, Im not going to pay $15 for filters.....

If you are one of those people who don’t like coffee grounds in your coffee, than these are for you. They dont come with instructions, so I will include here. Place coffee grounds into the filters. Pour water onto the coffee grounds. There you have it. Coffee with no grounds.

Got these to try them out as a replacement for the very overpriced blue bottle pour over filters. Couldn’t be happier. They fit perfectly and I cannot tell one bit of difference in the quality of the coffee produced.

These work well in pour over units, where one brews directly into a mug, but I use them with the small-brew insert in an Oxo drip coffee maker. Brew is concentrated for 2-4 cups, and works really well for one coffee drinker who wants a couple of cups.
