Great fit to bluebottle dripper! And taste good either.

Nice, but necessary to buy this brand? I bought this as a recommended complimentary product for the Kalita Wave 185 Dripper, thinking they were shaped to take advantage of the drippers unique shape. They appear to be bleached small size drip coffee filters. Reading that the brown unbleached type is better, when my supply of this product is exhausted, I will try the inexpensive store bought unbleached drip coffee filter sold by the gross at my local grocery stores coffee aisle and see how they work with my Kalita Wave 185 Dripper.

As described. Came in a plastic bag therefore 1 star.

The filters themselves are fine and work well in my Kalita Wave 185. The latest pack, though, came with the uppermost tier of filters slightly indented. When you have even a minor indent thats not supposed to be in the filter, it only gets exacerbated by hot water, making for an uneven brewing process. It was probably a packaging issue.

These filters have just the right thickness to extract coffee out of your grounds and not tear when wet. Theyre made for the Kalita Wave dripper and fit well. They stay in place when you run water through them to rinse the paper flavor out. No odd flavor remains after that.

The Kalita pour over makes the best coffee, and the filters dont leave a paper taste. Worth the money and the ritual required to make great coffee.

These are great filters if you can afford/obtain them. But they are just paper so why when we have 936 options on Amazon for pop-its or slotted spoons, do we have no decent alternate to these Japan sourced pieces of paper? I have to shop for these 3-4 weeks before I need them to be sure and actually get them before I run out.

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Blue Bottle Filters, as I already own the Blue Bottle Dripper. These ones are the perfect size and work just as well, for much cheaper.
