> 3 dayThere’s a few great things about these filters: 1. They leave no sludge, whatsoever. 2. They’re thinner & smaller than chemex so they consume less water and go far quicker. 3. Since they’re pleated (waves) they don’t sit against the coffee maker and drop the temperature as much. In my experience, with 850ml of water over 40g of coffee I only lose about 50ml of water with these. Comparatively, with a chemex, I lose close too 100ml for the same amount of grounds because their filters are probably 3x as thick and more than twice as large, unnecessarily.

> 3 dayThese are great, and fit perfectly with the Kalita drip cone. However, its made of white material that contains plastic so unfortunately cannot be composted. Would love to know an alternative that can be composted.

> 3 dayThese are great filters if you can afford/obtain them. But they are just paper so why when we have 936 options on Amazon for pop-its or slotted spoons, do we have no decent alternate to these Japan sourced pieces of paper? I have to shop for these 3-4 weeks before I need them to be sure and actually get them before I run out.

> 3 dayThese filters have just the right thickness to extract coffee out of your grounds and not tear when wet. Theyre made for the Kalita Wave dripper and fit well. They stay in place when you run water through them to rinse the paper flavor out. No odd flavor remains after that.
