Great fit to bluebottle dripper! And taste good either.

If you are one of those people who don’t like coffee grounds in your coffee, than these are for you. They dont come with instructions, so I will include here. Place coffee grounds into the filters. Pour water onto the coffee grounds. There you have it. Coffee with no grounds.

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Blue Bottle Filters, as I already own the Blue Bottle Dripper. These ones are the perfect size and work just as well, for much cheaper.

I wouldnt use any other filter with my Kalita pour over. Fits perfectly and does exactly what it needs to do.

Cant compare the filters to other kalita-style ones, but I will say that these + kalita definitely upgraded my coffee experience compared to non-kalita extraction processes.

These are high quality filters, conveniently packaged and simple to use. Each filter retains the wave shape. They are white and clean looking. Ive tried about 8 coffee making techniques and the Kalita Wave system using these filters is one of my top two methods. I will purchase these again and again.

They’re pricey but they’re worth it! Coffee taste so much better with these filters than 3rd party knock offs.

I wish this was cheaper. Unlike kalita 102 filter, this paper is known for strong smell. You will notice when pre rinse stage with hot water before putting grinds on this. You can smell the same on this waste water so pre rinsing is pretty important for this filter. Other than that this works fine. You can substitute this with Melitta coffee maker paper you can find at 99 cents store but thickness is so different so will outcome if you are curious.

These are great filters if you can afford/obtain them. But they are just paper so why when we have 936 options on Amazon for pop-its or slotted spoons, do we have no decent alternate to these Japan sourced pieces of paper? I have to shop for these 3-4 weeks before I need them to be sure and actually get them before I run out.

I dont own a Kalita Wave, I will admit. Theyre pretty expensive and dont have a plastic version, which I prefer for heat retention reasons (and for those people who hate the idea of plastic cones... why? Its not like youre going to be throwing it away, so waste isnt an issue). But these make *excellent* V60 filters. The flat base is very strong and stands up to water flow, and creates a fair bit of resistance, leading to water more evenly coating the grounds and ensuring a more consistent brew. Frankly, with how well these work in a V60, Im not sure I even feel the need to get a Kalita Wave anymore, as it feels like Im getting the consistency benefits without having to shell out for an expensive cone. Heavily recommended for anyone that owns a V60 and wants a more consistent brewing option.

Kaila wave 185 filters are made of high quality paper, with both material and shape designed to pull impurities out of the grounds and leave you with a pure, delicious cup of Coffee.
