Now that we have this, we can close the door without having to worry about waking the baby up. My wife absolutely loves this product. We are very surprised how long the battery last.

Sound quality was very scratchy. The mic only activated on loud sounds (crying/yelling), and the sound quality is worse than an old scratchy telephone. You can hear that something Loud is happening but cannot discern what it is. I was using this to monitor pets in another room, and when cats jump around or knock stuff over you only get a quick burst of sound but cannot Hear ambient room. I like the security feature that it’s not WiFi and is only direct to your local screen. The SD card recoding capability is … barely adequate, it’s got a lot of graininess/pixel blocks to the image. I tried to use this as an intercom to communicate across different levels of the house, the range is good but the voice quality is so bad. you can’t tell what the person on the other side is saying unless they talk loudly directly into the camera.

Note Review Edited: Purchased this in July and it worked great until about a month ago. In the last month the monitor continues to beep alert and display that the camera is out of range. We have tried repositioning it and moving it closer, but no matter it continues to beep and alert us it is out of range. We can not find anything about how to fix this issue in the manual or online and we have contacted customer service but have yet to receive a response. Customer service reached out to me and assisted in helping to fix the issue which could not be fixed on my device but offered and followed through on sending a new one. We have received the new video monitor and set it up and so far it is working great.

I bought this monitor 6 months ago. It worked great and did the job. The monitor needed to be replaced. It was still under warranty so I contacted them, half expecting it to be hard or difficult as some experiences have been with companies. This company really has great customer service. I chatted with them through a couple emails and boom, they had a new monitor sent to me with in a few days. I was really impressed. They are nice and eager to resolve the issue. I would definitely recommend this monitor to anyone. It really works well in addition to the great customer service. Clear image, great sound, good reception as well. Thank you Kawa!

This was literally the best camera for only a month. I received the camera October 11th. It is November 11th and it will not turn on anymore. I went to lay my 1 year old down for bed turned the monitor on and it wasn’t connected to the camera. So I read what to do I turned it off and unplugged it for 15 seconds. I tried to turn it back on and now the monitor won’t turn on at all!

this is a great camera with really good image quality if you are looking for an offline (no wifi) baby monitor. the camera movement isnt very loud which is great for not disturbing the baby. the monitor is nice and big. the only things that are a slightly not as expected for me are - i couldnt get an SD card that is more 64gb to work - the battery life isnt as good as id hope - the blue light in the front is distracting for the baby (had to put electrical tape over it) other than that this is a solid choice for a baby monitor!

Purchased two of these. One for my daughter and one for my son’s room. I tried the dual screen first but didn’t like it so purchased individual sets. They both have constant glitches. I’ll try to see the screen and it shows a black screen. The time also hardly updates correctly. The picture is better than the previous brand I used. I just don’t like that it glitches especially when one of them are crying and I’m trying to see on the monitor. One monitor blocks out the sound machine noise in the room but the other doesn’t and it’s super annoying. The battery life is also not that great. I used to be able to have our old monitor on almost a full day. These barely last through the night. By 5am the battery is on its last bar and by 6 it is showing red.

Seriously has a lot of connection problems. We are only 30 to 40 feet away in the room across, and yet has no reception. The screen comes on sporadically, so it confirms that it is connected. Probably a crappy antenna on my unit. You cant monitor your baby if the monitor keeps going in and out and claiming disconnection or out of range.

After a long research, I decided to buy this baby monitor for the VOX mode and the problem is that my baby sleeps with white noise and the sound detector it’s very sensitive, so the sound and image are always on. Very disappointed because I can’t sleep. I had another one from a different brand that would turn on only when my baby cried.
