Does NOT control odor. I gave this product 1 star only because the hamster likes it. If there were a 0 I would rate zero stars. My daughter has 1 hamster and the cage smells like a Buffalo died in it after 3 days. The old stuff I used the last a week or two. The stuff definitely does not last 14 days. Have you smell of urine after 3 days. The only positive is it is Fluffy and the hamster loves it to make a little house and hide. Other than that it does not do what it claims.

Has no smell. Its great my bunny does not eat it. It is not messy. It kind of stains the litter box a little but it really helps out with the smell. Good product overall.

I can clean the cage and a day or so it stinks not worth the money will not buy again not happy at all

Does the job for our hamster

It had begun releasing odor in less than 48 hours. We were hoping to switch to this bedding permanently but it did not provide the necessary odor control we wanted.

I absolutely love this bedding! I have my pairs of guinea pigs in 2 Midwest cage setups and each enclosure has one cage with fleece bedding, and one with this paper bedding, and all of them love to play & snuggle in the fresh bedding! My 8 week old skinny pig, Mikey, seems to enjoy it the most! I was considering going with just fleece, but my piggies love this stuff too much. Its a staple in our care now. It definitely helps keep the odor to a minimum, as long as you spot clean.

Of all the bedding we’ve tried, this is by far the worst! For perspective, we have just one guinea pig. This product claims to be “extreme” and “14 day” odor control but we had to clean the cage after just 5 days...the smell was horrible. The package also boasts 99.9% dust free. This product produced more dust on the furniture the cage sits on than any other bedding we’ve tried. I would definitely not recommend this product.

Cheaper online than in the store. And way less smelly than other brands

My daughter is extremely picky about what goes in her hamsters cage. Shes known to refuse to use all sorts of hamster-specific products because they were not up to standard; so when she finally used this bedding after doing much research, I knew this soft, fluffy Kaytee bedding must be more than just okay for hamsters.
