Kaytee Clean & Cozy Extreme Odor Control Bedding for Pet Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Hamsters, Gerbils, and Chinchillas, 65 Liters

This product is the best I have had so far regarding odor control. I have purchased twice and I tend to continue to purchase this product as long as it continues to work.

Kaytee is the leading brand for small animal bedding and there is a reason for that: their products are fantastic. I have a tiny hamster that somehow produces an astronomically amount of poop and pee, so his cage can get smelly in between weekly cleanings. Kaytee bedding has drastically improved the smell of his cage, and he loves the fluff so much! He burrows and stuffs it in his favorite hiding spots! This animal bedding also absorbed urine really well, I dont even have to line the bottom of the cage with a paper towel when using this product. Highly recommend this brand to those with small stinky critters!

This bedding is very, very strongly scented. I opened the box it came in and the smell hit me like a ton of bricks. It smells like a flock of old ladies wearing flea market perfume. The smell clung to my shirt so hard I had to wash it twice to destink it. Now, that smelled strongly to ME. My rats, who the bedding was for, have much more sensitive noses than I do. Strong scents can actually give rats and other small animals respiratory problems. Spraying air freshener in the same room as their cage can mess with them. Since I love my pets, theres no freaking way Im putting this stuff anywhere near their home. I think its irresponsible for this company to sell this stuff, let alone market it for small animals. I wont be buying Kaytee products in the future.

Have 2 ginepigs in a large cage so this works Very Well I dont smell them at all 1 bag last 10 Cleanings which is also great Price is great also

This by far the best bedding Ive had. There is no odor. My rabbit loves it. It is so soft.

I bought this bedding for my rabbit as soon as it came out...hoping it would actually live up to what the package states. Pros: Its soft Cons: To me, it is typical paper bedding. It does not absorb well (actually stays WET) Cleaning the cage and litter pans was like scooping up soaked mushy paper..... Is not odor free...there is no way this lasts 14 days odor free, more like 1 or 12 hours. I changed the litter every 2-3 days and it still smelled TERRIBLE, so I had to go back to changing it everyday, which defeated the purpose of buying this bedding. I gave it 2 stars because it is soft.

Only issue is this shipment two of the bags had slices in the packaging. Not ideal for this product as its messy! Otherwise very happy.

I liked that it would last 7 days odor free. Disliked I had to add more bedding so the odor wont break out.

Very soft and dust and odor free

This seemed to help control odor a little more than the regular scent. Having two indoor rabbits it’s definitely necessary to have a good product and keep things clean and fresh. Will buy again
