So after several months of using fleece liners for the entire cage I ran across an article about the usage of guinea pig kitchens where a portion of the cage is dedicated to housing the water and food for the guinea pigs, which works almost like a litter box where the piggies only urinate in that area. I use this bedding for that area and it changed our lives. It makes cleanup so much easier and the guinea pigs really like it and because they generally only urinate in that specific area, it has really cut down on the need for washing the fleece bedding. There is no scent to this particular product, which we prefer. However I dont believe we could make this product last more than 4 days before having to change out the entire kitchen pan. Maybe you could make it work for longer if you were using this bedding for an entire cage, but Ive never tried doing that so Im not sure what the result would be. Our guinea pig kitchen pan is 28 in by 28 in, and their entire cage is about 28 inches by 70 in, if that helps. We have two big boars and after four days the bedding has to be changed out, as they generally only urinate in that area. That being said I would not use another product as none we have tried work as well as this bedding. If you havent tried setting up a dedicated guinea pig kitchen area, it worked wonders for us.

Its such a dusty bedding. It gets in my eyes and up my nose.

My guinea piggies like it and it is easy to clean, however I’m not completely satisfied with odor control. It worked well when they were baby piggies, how they got older the scent control does not work as good. Odor controll about a week, definitely not 2 weeks, but I still did not found better product.

We use this for all of our hamsters. I can’t say there is anything to complain about this product. It’s a very big bag. Easy to put in the cage. Settles down well. Easy to dump out and replace.

The bedding is extremely soft. The girls really enjoyed cozying up in it. We will be sticking to this one for a while.

Its pretty good but obviously gets everywhere or gets stuck to things when it gets wet.

This expands to make ALOT! Super soft.

Helps control the odor and soft to the touch but when wet, it tends to stick to the bottom of the cage. This size lasts at least one month with changing the bedding out once a week.
