Greater than one weekI have used Ace combs for my entire life. I made the mistake recently of thinking it was a good idea to replace the (3) I have had for years. I tossed the old ones out then bought the replacements. The NEW version of the Ace combs is plastic (not hard rubber like the old version) and they hurt your scalp to use them. They dig in and hurt. I was very disappointed. I tossed them out and researched other combs. These Kent combs cost more than the Ace versions but they are great. Its sad when an old stand-by favorite such as Ace has dropped its standards so far after all these years. One more old classic that has fallen by the wayside. These Kent combs are really nice. I dont think you would be disappointed with them.

> 3 dayHandsome comb that does the job. I’ve been growing my hair out for the first time and it manages to get the knots out without breaking any hairs. I’ll only lose 1-2 hairs whereas other combs would yank out at least a half dozen during a combing. I’ll probably buy another one for travel I’m that smitten.

> 3 dayThis is the PERFECT pocket comb, and Ive tried all kinds -- the drugstore cheapies, the fancy silicone-injected ones, ones high-end salons recommended that are made in Japan - I swear, this is the one for me. It seems like the kind of comb youd buy in a old fashioned mens barber shop, very well-made and unfortunately not the sort Ive seen advertised for women. No matter - I have just-past-shoulder-length, thick, coarse hair and this comb leaves my windblown or bedhead mess groomed and lovely after a few strokes. When you get it, youll see what the other reviews mean about obvious quality and craftmanship - its a got a solid weight to it and all smooth edges. Used it for a week now and carry it everywhere.

Greater than one weekThis is my 2nd Kent comb since I lost my previous one. Decided to order a bigger model this time. There is not much to say about this combs, they are a stellar product in every way. My only minor complaints is that the gold lettering fades away over time since it rubs against the skin a lot, and also this are fairly sturdy combs, but they will break against moderate-strong pressure/bending. Other than that, buy this.

> 3 dayKent combs are the best in the world, as far as my husband and I are concerned. Wed each had one for a couple of decades and they were finally losing teeth, so I ordered a couple of new ones. The wide-toothed ones are especially great for anyone who dislikes closely-spaced teeth that tend to pull at hair. The combs are finished by hand, which means they are very smooth. Well worth the few extra dollars. Further to this earlier review—although the wide-spaced combs are described as for thick, coarse hair, thats not why I buy them. My hair is baby-fine and has natural curl. If I use a normal-spaced comb, it tends to straighten my hair too much. Wider spacing allows my curl to remain mostly undisturbed.

> 3 dayI originally bought the FOTG & it just wasnt for me so I then bought the 12TG and this comb appears to be spot on , it comes in at 5 1/2 or 14 cm. and has wider teeth which I find excellent for my type of hair and is small enough to fit in my back pocket without feeling like Im going to lose it.
