> 3 dayJust feels better than any other comb, totally worth a couple extra bucks. I give this as a cheap gift-for-no-reason to friends and family that have been using crappy 99¢ combs all their lives. And if youre still reading... random piece of knowledge on why it feels different: It is made out of acetate rather than injection plastic. Acetate (which really is also plastic) is heavier and denser than injection plastic and so it gives a real sense of weight in your hand. Acetate must be carved from a solid slab rather poured into molds. This is a common difference in sunglasses. If you have a $5 pair, they are likely injection plastic, and if you have a greater than $50 pair they are likely acetate. It takes more money to carve out individual components rather than just mass produce using injection molds. (That being said, were all still gouged by the sunglass makers) If you have pairs at both sides of spectrum tap them with your finger nail or try both on back to back. That expensive feel just acetate. FWIW my favorite looking pair of sunglasses is cheap, I just cant stand how light the feel sometimes.

> 3 dayThis is my favorite of all the combs Ive tried for my big bushy beard. I have bought a variety to distribute through my home, car, office, and work satchel and this one takes top honors. Highlights are the longer teeth that can reach all the way through my bushy beard, the overall dimensions and shape. The only negative relative to some other combs is slightly tighter spacing on the teeth.

> 3 dayin a rush for an opera prop, and this one was perfect, once I dulled down the bright gold printing. Thanks.

> 3 dayI actually order these four at a time. They are the only comb my husband will use (once he got over the price) because they dont tear his hair or scalp with use. Unfortunately, my husband will usually bust out the teeth within six months. I think this is because he carries it in his pocket all day, every day, but it is sharing pocket space with his Swiss Army knife, many coins, the occasional spare electronic part, and God knows what else. Yep, hes an engineer. Since these take several weeks to get here, I have learned to keep an eagle eye open to see just how many teeth are currently missing on the comb du jour (du months?) and sneak a new one onto his dresser as needed, hence the need for a stash of them. Hes well worth the investment, though.

> 3 dayThis is the best comb Ive ever owned. Im a woman with thick, long hair and Ive been buying cheap combs thinking that a comb was a comb. But I started to notice that some of the teeth in my cheap combs were getting bent and breaking my hair when I combed it. This comb doesnt even feel the same. Its like comparing apples and oranges. This comb is heavy and I cant imagine the teeth would snap off or bend under heat. I feel like it massages my scalp when I use it. Its 5.5 x 1.75, so not as long as a regular comb, but not as small as a mens pocket comb. I will definitely invest in more Kent products in the future.

> 3 dayVery high quality comb, you get what you pay for. It doesn’t feel like the more often than not product deception Amazon and online shopping in general is notorious for. It’s a firm comb, and for when I need that kind of comb, this product doesn’t disappoint

> 3 dayIve had my Kent FOT comb for about 4 years now. Its done an amazing job with my short beard, but I decided to go big beard status and the smooth as butter glide wasnt working out as well. I have a fairly thick and wavy beard. Today I got my Kent 12T and the first pass through my larger beard, since Im growing it, gave me that same smooth as butter pass through that I got with the FOT comb and a shorter beard. I absolutely love it and its simple things like this that urge me to keep growing. Kent combs are just different in all the best ways.

> 3 dayIts a decent comb when my beard is wet, but DRY it tends to snag my hair if Im not careful. Even with beard oil in my hair! My wooden beard comb does not do this. The teeth are slightly closer together than my beard comb which it does help make my beard look fuller. I like that it sits in my pocket well and dont even notice its there. If I had to choose one or the other to carry on me, I would stick with the wooden one and use the Kent for when I get out of the shower.
