> 3 dayI ordered these combs because I had grown a beard which seemed to be rather difficult (and painful) to comb or brush. These combs are supposedly better because they are sawcut by hand as opposed to being made by the hundred using a plastic mold injection machine. I trimmed the beard which makes it a lot easier to manage however upon the advice of my barber it is necessary to wash and comb or brush your beard on a daily basis to keep it looking nice and manageable. I dont do either on a daily basis hence when I use these combs they dont feel much different than another comb. The design, look and feel of the comb is unlike any other and for this reason I prefer to use them over those combs which are not handmade. The bonus is that they are made in the land of my ancestors--England. The 146 mm size fits nicely into a shirt or jacket pocket. I recommend it to any one who is committed to take good daily care of his unruly beard.

> 3 dayNice comb. Unfortunately, it still snags in my beard. I bought this hoping it wouldn’t snag in my tangled beard because it says it’s for detangling. It’s better than most, but still not quite perfect.

> 3 dayI have used these combs for years in my purse. They have always been beautifully finished and proportioned, and the tines far enough apart they dont pull my hair. I have usually bought them in beauty supply stores, but they are very hard to find now, so I bought them from Amazon recently: That said, I ordered several for Christmas gifts and the quality was uneven. I know they are handmade (which I love) but some of the tines were a little sharper than my previous combs, etc. I think Kent needs to up the quality control a bit. That said, this price via Amazon is a GREAT VALUE and the combs are better than anything else on the market. Thank you.

> 3 dayVery happy with purchase. Quality from packaging which I saved because it was very well made to the comb itself was extremely well made. The combs are thicker than I expected which is a plus from something flimsy. I have only used it for about a week and I would say this wide tooth Kent comb is was perfect in design and features. A bit on the pricier side of combs but you do get what you paid for.

> 3 dayThis entire line of hand-cut pocket and professional combs are the strongest and most durable Ive ever seen. Sure, this comb will cost twice what a common plastic comb will cost, but it will last ten times longer. How often has your present brand been destroyed by other objects kept in the same pocket? This beauty will stand up against Change, Pocket Knives, and Father Time, himself.

> 3 dayJust feels better than any other comb, totally worth a couple extra bucks. I give this as a cheap gift-for-no-reason to friends and family that have been using crappy 99¢ combs all their lives. And if youre still reading... random piece of knowledge on why it feels different: It is made out of acetate rather than injection plastic. Acetate (which really is also plastic) is heavier and denser than injection plastic and so it gives a real sense of weight in your hand. Acetate must be carved from a solid slab rather poured into molds. This is a common difference in sunglasses. If you have a $5 pair, they are likely injection plastic, and if you have a greater than $50 pair they are likely acetate. It takes more money to carve out individual components rather than just mass produce using injection molds. (That being said, were all still gouged by the sunglass makers) If you have pairs at both sides of spectrum tap them with your finger nail or try both on back to back. That expensive feel just acetate. FWIW my favorite looking pair of sunglasses is cheap, I just cant stand how light the feel sometimes.

> 3 dayThis is the PERFECT pocket comb, and Ive tried all kinds -- the drugstore cheapies, the fancy silicone-injected ones, ones high-end salons recommended that are made in Japan - I swear, this is the one for me. It seems like the kind of comb youd buy in a old fashioned mens barber shop, very well-made and unfortunately not the sort Ive seen advertised for women. No matter - I have just-past-shoulder-length, thick, coarse hair and this comb leaves my windblown or bedhead mess groomed and lovely after a few strokes. When you get it, youll see what the other reviews mean about obvious quality and craftmanship - its a got a solid weight to it and all smooth edges. Used it for a week now and carry it everywhere.

> 3 dayI have several of these. One on my desk, one in my bag, and one in the car. Always have a good comb nearby to keep your hair in check. Theyre nice and sturdy, just the right size, and they dont assault your scalp.
