These are the first non-cheapo combs I have ever used, and they are worth every cent. I dont know how they do it, and I really dont care, but they glide thru my hair where others tend to tug.

This comb REALLY does feel different from the average molded comb that you can buy in drugstores or Target, etc. The ends of the tines are smooth and rounded, so they feel good on the scalp, not scratchy. The rest of the comb, especially the insides and edges of the tines are SMOOTH and the edges are polished so that it simply doesnt pull or tear at the hair. Compared with the Giorgio detangler, and even the Kent detangler, this one wins by far. I think the pattern/formation of the tines on the Kent detangler causes it to pull. The tines on the Giorgio one had edges that were not quite as rounded over as those in this Kent 16T comb, so I thought it pulled my hair a bit; though the Giorgio one was still superior to any regular molded comb. One would think a comb is a comb is a comb, but this comb really did feel significantly better and smoother through my hair. Would not hesitate to purchase again. Cannot tell about durability because Ive only had it a week.

Its just a comb, I thought, how much different could it possibly be from my other one? Oh how wrong I was. Kent, evidently a comb that shares a humans name, is not just your ordinary cheap-plastic-run-your-fingers-through-it-and-make-that-funny-noise kind of comb. Its solid. Handcrafted. It feels heavy and the comb teeth are sharp enough to actually poke and prod at your skull in potentially painful positions. As a relative newcomer to the world of combs, I was surprised a comb of this quality even existed. Throw away whatever cheap comb youre using right away, if it came in a set with some limp scissors and other assorted hair products, it will never live up to the majesty of Kent. Kent would never snag your hairs and make you hurt, Kent would never lose teeth, Kent can comb thick hair, thin hair, long hair, short hair, curly hair, frizzy hair and probably even your dogs hair if you wanted him to. Kent is what you need in your life.

To refer to this as a comb is akin to referring to a Ferrari as a car. There is only one comb appointed by her majesty the Queen and that is the Kent comb. The Kent is handmade from the finest of materials since 1777. The finely polished handmade comb glides through your hair in a way that you know it is fit for the Queen herself. The Kent comb starts your day in pure opulence while you mock the peasants using inferior combs. Fit for the Queen, fit for me.

You can really tell the difference in these combs. I use them for my beard and my son uses it for his hair. They are not lying about the comfort of the toothpicks edges and the quality that it feels in your hand

Like this product. It does not hurt my head. It gives a soft feeling to my head and hair.

    Greater than one week

I’ve waited over a year to see if it would break like all the other combs I’ve tried. Nope it’s still going strong. My hair is long and thick which usual does a comb in inside of 6 months. Not only did this comb endure but it’s comfortable to use and is not harsh on the scalp. Definitely worth the price.

This is by far the best Comb I have used. It is large, premium, and feels like a well-crafted product. It has been performing great since Ive received it. This Kent 16T is the best comb ever made. I had my last one for over 25 years, until a tooth finally snapped off a year ago. Took me a while to exactly match my broken one - but I was not going to buy any other brand. I tried to use many other combs from the poor choice in local shops - none can compare. You must know the annoying mantra they just dont make things like they used to. Well, yes, a few things are still made properly and last a long time. From my personal experience, this comb is good for dry, wet, long, short, young and old hair. This comb is made from cellulose acetate, which is a non-petroleum based plastic derived from plants. The teeth are smooth (hand polished and buffed) and feel good on my scalp with no scratching and no hair breakage. It is a larger comb, they call it a dressing table. My pocket comb also recently broke, so I decided to get myself a Kent. I was amazed at the difference a comb could make.
