> 3 dayI thought this was a silly frivolity to buy, but this comb may be the last comb I ever have to buy. Always used cheap black plastic combs, until they broke or bent or became gross or got lost. This comb is smooth and strong and flows through my hair better without scratching or pulling. This is absolutely worth the price

17-04-20252021 update: I just returned from a vacation and discovered my comb was missing. I searched my old orders on Amazon to buy this comb again. My previous purchase was in 2014. The comb was still in perfect shape although the Kent letters in gold had worn away. Well worth buying again. When my old comb had to go, I decided to try this Kent comb even though it seemed rather pricey. I also bought the Goody Styling Comb Brown #45507 which looks very similar but is about seven dollars less. What a difference! When you handle the two combs side by side, it is clear the Kent comb is much, much better. The ends of the teeth are rounded and do not have that sharp feel on my scalp. I have been in the habit of sanding the tips of the teeth on new combs to make them more comfortable. I will need to sand the teeth on the Goody comb but the Kent comb is already round and comfortable. The teeth on the Kent comb are sturdier. The teeth on the Goody comb are more flexible and more flimsy. I really dislike the look of a comb when a tooth has broken and there is a gap in the teeth. I anticipate this comb will hold up much better than my previous combs. The best part is how nicely this combs my hair. It just glides through my hair. Very gratifying.
