Wonderful full size comb for men and women with medium shirt hair or men shorter beards that are just long enough to need some coming out. Only complaint is US version (Prime shipping) has poor quality gold leaf embossing, that is only on one side. The embossing rubbed mostly off from standard finger contact in two days giving the false impression of cheapness in a otherwise fantastic comb. British versions have durable gold leaf embossing on both sides (having model name embossed on one side) and comes in nicer packaging. In my option pay the small amount to have shipped from Great Britain. In the end you will love the comb, unlike cheaper drug store combs.

Yes, its expensive, but I think its worth it. For the first time I can comb my hair in the morning and the comb is NOT full of my hair. Amazing. I thought my hair was falling out because Im 65 years old. Every morning, Id comb my hair, with the typical plastic comb you buy at any store, and there would be 20 - 30 hairs in the comb. The first morning with this wonderful comb and there was No hair in it. No hair in the comb!!! I had to put my readers on to make sure I wasnt going blind. Im ordering a second for my travel bag. Ive already purchased two of the 4 inch pocket combs. (This was a mistake as I only need one pocket comb, but hey, now I have a backup in case I misplace my pocket comb, which usually goes through the washer once a month.)

You dont expect much from combs in general, so you buy cheap ones, because if quality is assumed to be inherently poor, whats the point? Its a self feeding cycle that perpetuates the thought that combs are cheap, throw-away tools. This comb proves otherwise. I have fine hair, which is sensitive to seemingly all input. Combs and brushes tend to frizz it out, so I experimented by buying this comb to see if it would make a difference and saw an immediate improvement. This comb is a fantastic product. It is weighted well (which is a surprisingly nice characteristic) and larger than the usual comb. It is very smooth and comfortable on the scalp and manages knots well. No hair or residue gets caught in the teeth and is incredibly easy to keep clean. The spacing of the teeth on the fine-side is wider than most, but it hasnt been a problem. I will likely buy more Kent products just because this experience has been such an eye-opener.

I ordered this comb as a surprise for my boyfriend, since he complained his cheap little black comb was breaking in his hair. He has coarse, thick hair and it was about time he had a comb meant for it. This comb had some awesome reviews, so I decided to check it out. Especially since its odd for someone to even leave a review for a comb anyway *cough cough*. But my boyfriend saw how well made it was, and how it glided through his hair as opposed to snagging and catching at his roots like the cheap plastic stuff he was using. I even use his comb occasionally on my long hair when its wet, and it is the best comb Ive ever used! It seriously glides like butter. This comb was made properly. Would highly recommend! Itd without question the nicest comb Ive ever owned. But its still a comb. My life after using the comb is much the same as it was before. But yeah, its a nice comb. If youre frustrated by the cheap stuff you buy at the grocery store, then this is well worth considering. Look, it isnt going to break the bank or cause you to refinance your house. I dont care much either way about the color, I care if it combs my hair. It does. It doesnt rake the skin off my scalp, break teeth, etc. Its a good comb.

So glad I found this, no more pulling out my hair. Glides very smoothly, and this is the best size for normal daily use. I got the smaller pocket one first, and thats a bit too small so using that one for travel instead. My old comb would tear out hair left and right. This is much better!
