I recently bought a PS5 Console (Disc Version). The consoles available space is quickly absorbed by a few games downloaded to its native drive. An internal SSD is absolutely needed to expand its storage capacity. I read several reviews and decided to buy Kingston 4TB SSD as it is the best and largest in the marketplace. Installation is super easy! After installing and restarting, the new console hits the ground running. Now I can enjoy games with no worry at all about the capacity. If you have no issue with budget, then Kingston 4TB is a no-brainer.

I had been searching for a while for a drive to extend the storage on my PS5. After narrowing it down to my top three, this drive showed up in an ad. I checked it out and decided to order the 2tb variation with the full heatsink, not just the thin sticker. The drive is well made, works great, tests fast, and transfers are faster than I expected. I obviously cant comment on reliability until Ive had it for awhile longer, but so far it gets a lot of use and it has held up with no problems. Installing it was simple, Kingston has a video that explains it if you need it. I got it on sale, grab it before the price goes up!

Read good reviews only for it to arrive ripped open in the original envelope. Waited about 2 weeks with prime for this to arrive....and it arrives damaged. Wont work in 2 SSD slots or my PS5. I will not be going with this company again after the wait and now hassle of returning it. Nah, Im good

Purchased this to be my primary boot drive on my new gaming PC. Before it I was using a standard SATA SSD, the difference is immediately noticeable. Everything from Windows updates to transferring large files takes anywhere from seconds to just a couple minutes. Browsing through Windows itself, tabs and system files open before you have time to even blink. When playing games, booting them up is extremely fast, load time however doesnt see that much improvement. Though I feel thats because of how games are coded and not a fault of the SSD. Overall, would highly recommend.

I ran ATTO on my old Patriot Viper ssd and the new one,as you can see. Not quite the speed that suckered me into purchasing this. The old ssd gave me more consistant numbers. What was most shocking was how dissappointing the IO was. This Furry ssd is supposed to be a million ops read and 900k write. How companies as old as this keep praticing poor business realy gets me, sad really. Lie to customers just to get there money.

The hardest part was finding tiny screws, not Kingstons fault. Each motherboard may be different. I bought it to copy everything from a 1TB drive (not the boot drive), because it was about 75% full. It was so fast copying I couldnt believe it. I checked to see if the drives matched. But the new drive looked like it was missing 400MB. It took me a while to find out and why I couldnt switch the drive letters. I used part of the older drive as virtual memory and the boot drive, and thats where the extra used space was. I turned off the virtual memory and now the sizes match, and only about 48MB was being used. I wouldnt have bought it if I remembered I had virtual memory on it. I had to use a program I bought to transfer the stuff to the newer SSD M.2, which is fast and works great.
