Greater than one weekI used cloning software to duplicate (clone) my entire existing 500 GB laptop drive to this 1 TB drive. After opening the laptop, it was a simple job to swap out the drives. The new one retains all my system, program, and data files and operates just like the old one. In addition to the extra storage space, this new drive is considerable faster than my old one.

Greater than one weekNot sure why console makers do not offer an extended storage version right off the bat, because some of us would pay! This product has been working flawlessly and is easy to install once you get the cover off the PS5. Saves me a lot on external hard drive costs. Buy the bigger one! It’ll be worth it.

> 3 dayGreat, fast NVMe SSD. Seem to stay nice and cool under heavy load. These are both installed under the motherboards built-in heat sinks. At idle(no massive disk operations occurring) in Windows 11 the one near the CPU is at 39C while the one below the GPU is at 33C. Its around 24C in the room. When fans kick on they shoot below 30C.

04-04-2025Bought for my PS5. Overall it is great, my only minor complaint is that they advertise up to 7300MBps it only manages around 6600MBps. I know its not a huge deal, and the up to isnt a guarantee, but it falling about 10% behind its rating is a bit of a disappointment. It is still plenty fast to pass the PS5 compatibility check when you install it.

Greater than one weekI was actually looking for a 500 Gig NVME for my Windows/C drive, but the read/write specs vary depending on the size you get. I wanted to boost both my Read and my Write speeds so I went with the 1TB for the better speeds. The third image is for comparison to the drive I replaced. I am very happy with the performance and my system is faster calling up programs and everything. Great upgrade from the PCI3 to this PCI 4 ssd. I had a little trouble with the cloning process due to the OEM version of Acronis for this drive as well as it being my C drive. What worked for me was doin a Manual-Proportional-Saying I was going to use in another system. Otherwise it kept partitioning in ways I did not want. But once I got it, this thing screams. This thing rocks!
