This strainer is made of sturdy stainless steel with just the right sized holes drilled for good drainage.

Having these is like having a mini quality colander in your drain. The holes arent so small that things gum up like in typical strainers which makes them impossible to clean. These are easy to clean and look really nice in the sink. They dont get water spots. They stay shiny. Time will tell if they rust but I hope not. Very pleased.

I took a change on these strainers a little over a month ago when my strainer at the time started to come apart. When I opened the package I could instantly tell they were going to work great. They’re very sturdy and have some weight to them so when water falls through them, they don’t lift up. I also don’t have to get my hands in food gunk trying to clean them out, I just flip them upside down on the side of my sink with a garage disposal and done. I’m very impressed. My last strainer really grossed me out.

They looks nice and shiny, and are well made. Debris gets trapped in them as its supposed to. Whats great is that if you just take it and give it a good shake in your trash can, most all of the debris will normally fall out, so cleaning is a breeze. The mesh strainers I had before, which are basically like a course metal screen, would capture debris, but would easily get clogged (these do not), and youd have to scrub them to get the debris out, as it would get trapped in all the little holes. This is definitely a worthwhile upgrade for your kitchen sink!

I do not own a garbage disposal, and so to keep my drain from clogging up, with the potato peelings, etc...I purchased one of these, it works great! Catches all that can’t go down the drain! It’s cheaper than calling the plumber! Better grab one, and save a call for a plumber! Lol

It’s perfect for my sink. It catches all the stuff I don’t want going down my drain.

I wasnt sure how these would look replacing the antique bronze/black strainer that came with the sink, but the shine matches the stainless steel very well. Our previous one would only block the water from draining, so it was pretty useless at catching debris when rinsing dishes. This one even catches the tiny seeds from a jar of sliced jalapenos. Its easy to shake the crumbs out into the trash as well. Obviously, this is a bit harder to do if it is soaking wet, so letting it dry some beforehand is helpful. Ive also used the flexible wire mesh strainers before and they get gross, misshapen, and clogged very easily. This one is perfect!

You pay for what you get! They sell cheaper ones a dollar stores and those rust and don’t fit right. This product is opposite. It is thick and doesn’t rust. I recommend these to anyone.
