I previously had the wire mesh type of sink strainers. A lot of the smaller debris in the water slipped under those, but these stainless steel metal ones look nice, theyre easier to clean, and they fit really nicely and catch just about all the solid debris.

The positive is that this is easy to clean. The negative is that the holes do block up faster than my old wire drain strainer. The bowl depth could be deeper and more holes would be fantastic. I will adjust because it is easier to clean and there are no sharp of wire waiting to cut me when I clean it. Thank you.

I had an older sink strainer basket that was installed when my house was built ten years ago. The plumber didnt use the authentic Kohler strainer and it rusted. After replacing it with the original stainless one, I was happy until I realized it would not stay in the open position and water constantly was filling the sink. I decided to just use these drain catchers instead and now I am extremely satisfied. The water easily flows through them while they catch any debris or food you dont want going down the drain. They are easy to empty and clean and they are fairly sturdy.

Just as good, if not better than the ones that cost 2 to 3 times more. They work perfectly in my kitchen sink and I love that you get two when you order. I cant see one ever wearing out but should I lose it, Ive got a back up. Great product!

This is exactly what I needed. My apartment came with a sink strainer where the holes were so large that food went right through. This looks nice and does what is needed. It made my sink look brand new and modern. No love that it came with 2 in case I ever want to replace the one I have.

Even though I had some doubts before I bought it. It did the job great for me since I was putting Drano every other day. Catches fine particles. Havent used Drano since.

A match made in heaven! After a long search, this strainer is exactly what I need for my kitchen sink. The water flows easy even withh food residuals. Facile to remove and clean. Great product and price.

I bought one of these for my home a few months ago, and because it worked so well, I am adding one to a rental unit. It is unbelievable how much accumulates in this that is kept from clogging the drain and building up material that would ultimately cause odors. It looks nice in my stainless steel sink.

I wasnt sure how these would look replacing the antique bronze/black strainer that came with the sink, but the shine matches the stainless steel very well. Our previous one would only block the water from draining, so it was pretty useless at catching debris when rinsing dishes. This one even catches the tiny seeds from a jar of sliced jalapenos. Its easy to shake the crumbs out into the trash as well. Obviously, this is a bit harder to do if it is soaking wet, so letting it dry some beforehand is helpful. Ive also used the flexible wire mesh strainers before and they get gross, misshapen, and clogged very easily. This one is perfect!

These things are great. Scrub up nice and shiny, sturdy material that won’t bend if you look at it, a great replacement to screen mesh sink strainers that get gunked up with starchy liquids or plastic versions that get moldy. Love these! Sturdy material, nice design, easy to clean
