> 3 dayNothing gets past this one! But seriously , if you do have food stuff in the sink this steel trap won’t let it go down and won’t let the water go down either lol . I find that I have use my fingers to move the debris waste away from the mesh a little so that the water can drain. I guess you can say it works

> 3 dayDoesnt build up sink gunk like plastic/rubber type. Need to empty often, but thats ok. Saves your drain as long as you dont put grease, pasta, potato liquid down the drain. Cleaning it is easy, except for lifting it with a fork. If they put a lifter in the middle, it would take up too much space from the catchings.

> 3 dayA big improvement over previous types of drain screens in my opinion! All metal and no rubber parts to accumulate gunk or mold and protects the drains from small particles!!!! Extremely happy with this product!!!!

Greater than one weekThis strainer is heavy and does the job, when the sink is running and there is a lot of water, it stays in place and keeps solids out of the drain. Buy it.

Greater than one weekAfter repeatedly and frequently changing out the wire version of this device I used to use, this is amazing! It’s so easy to keep clean and shiny and it’s very sturdy. I’ll save a ton of money not replacing the cheap version every little while because it looks disgusting.
