Greater than one weekNothing gets past this one! But seriously , if you do have food stuff in the sink this steel trap won’t let it go down and won’t let the water go down either lol . I find that I have use my fingers to move the debris waste away from the mesh a little so that the water can drain. I guess you can say it works

> 3 dayThese are the very best strainers we have ever used. Durable, lightweight and effective. Catch all fine particles before getting in the drain line. Really crucial since were on a septic. They clean fairly well - just tap on the inside of trash can and the debris fall off. Better to do it when its dry. Nice chrome finish for our sink.

> 3 dayWe have had screen style strainers in the past. They work well but they bend, come loose to stab you and they’re difficult to clean. Your solid bottom perforated screen system is much more gooder.

> 3 dayBetter than I thought it would be, especially for the price.

> 3 dayGreat strainers, definitely usable in non sink applications as well. I used mine to hold a chilled reusable ice cube over my espresso

> 3 dayIf you oder this product make sure you DO NOT order the black painted model. The black model is very thinly painted and comes off very easily. Vendor will not refund if it used (about 2 weeks old). My bad for not seeing that detail. Lesson learned.
