These are well made, but the holes may actually be too small. They catch every teeny little speck, so constantly need to be cleaned off.

So easy to throw in the dishwasher with every load. The handle makes picking it up much easier and less gross than the flat rubber or plastic drain strainers. Feels like they stay cleaner and germ free longer and easier.

I like quality but don’t really need it to catch food going in sink. These work fine.

Using it in kitchen sink. I put it in the dishwasher to sanitize. Strainer is strong not flimsy at all. Size is perfect.

I thought I would like this but did not. It is sturdy and a nice design. But the mesh is so fine I had trouble cleaning the trapped food stuff out of it. I had to rinse it with water to clean it and that defeats the idea of keeping the food out of the drain pipe. If you want to catch most of the food debris this is the strainer for you. I bought a different strainer, simillar to this but the mesh was not as fine and that worked better for me. I take it oud and tap it against the trash can side to knock out the food debris. That technique did not work for me with this strainer. It is not a bad strainer, just not the one that works best for me.

Easy access through the handle, it is perforated up to the rim so it gives you a continuous flow of water even when partially covered by your dishes or if full of food scraps. Just perfect!
