These are well made, but the holes may actually be too small. They catch every teeny little speck, so constantly need to be cleaned off.

I use this in kitchen sink when rinsing small food particles or dog hair if I’m washing them in sink. Catches WAY more particles /hair than a standard one Easy to pick up and toss waste in trash can as it has a handle

Captures all the food debris and then it is easy to use a paper towel to scoop that into the trash, so it doesnt go down the drain. In using this you are giving up the old fashioned ones that have the drain stopper thingy in the middle, so if you need to fill your sink with water you will need to keep your original stopper for those purposes. Bought this after a clogged sink drain that must have gotten clogged from food debris, even though we didnt think there was much debris going down the drain and we have an insinkerator. Now that I have this I can see there has been a cumulatively larger amount of debris going down the drain than we realized, so this is really helping us.

Flow rate is greatly improved over traditional basket strainers, captures much more debris, very easy to clean. Wish Id bought this years ago, it would have saved some serious plumbing problems.

Love how these catch practically every crumb. A quick rinse after emptying is all they need to stay clean.

Best strainer

We live in an area where I dont have a garbage disposal, since we have a septic system. Im constantly worried about food and stuff going down the drain and causing a problem. I found these and OMG they are amazing. I am astonished at how much stuff they catch that I now know was previously going down my drain. I usually just dump them into the trash a couple times a day, and run them through the dishwasher each night. They are fantastic.

Love these strainers for my kitchen sink, so easy to keep clean, catches all the little particles and then I just shake them into the trash, rinse the strainer and it is ready to do more work....LOVE these
