We live in a manufactured home with no disposal. This works great to collect small bits of food when rinsing off dishes Easy to lift out with handle & dump in garbage can. Just what I was looking for. Received 2 & put one in each drain of kitchen sink. Very sturdy metal, not mesh wire.

Doesnt rust. Strains smaller food bits, yet still allows water to drain. Handle makes for easy removal. One tap inside the trash can to empty. Feels sturdy. Whats not to love?

They do their job well, and Im straining to come up with any downsides.

Fits perfectly into the drain, very sturdy, catches nearly everything before it goes down the drain. Highly recommend!

These are great. I am confident that nothing will get past it. And no much more attractive than the standard drain catch.

I thought I would like this but did not. It is sturdy and a nice design. But the mesh is so fine I had trouble cleaning the trapped food stuff out of it. I had to rinse it with water to clean it and that defeats the idea of keeping the food out of the drain pipe. If you want to catch most of the food debris this is the strainer for you. I bought a different strainer, simillar to this but the mesh was not as fine and that worked better for me. I take it oud and tap it against the trash can side to knock out the food debris. That technique did not work for me with this strainer. It is not a bad strainer, just not the one that works best for me.

This is an awesome product. I don’t have to use my garbage disposal at all.
