This is awesome. It’s very easy to install and makes the headset much more comfortable to wear as well as to put on and take off.

If you only have one VR set this is especially nice. My husband and I have to switch off often and this head set allows you to adjust way faster and easier. Plus it is comfortable. Having the crank option to tighten the backside is also a nice addition. If you ever used a hard helmet or climbing helmet you get what I mean.

To be honest, I was surprised by the quality and comfort of this replacement strap. To start with, the box it shipped in was extremely sturdy. Next, when I opened the box I found directions. Not a URL to go find directions- they had included a multipage set of directions (with diagrams) that actually made sense. As for the strap setup- its very comfortable. You can adjust the size by turning the knob (I do wish it wasnt completely smooth to make it easier to turn the first few times but it does get easier with use). The padding is really soft and comfortable. They really did create a good replacement strap that balances the Oculus 2 comfortably on your head rather than the headset feeling like a brick hanging off your face, that is just waiting for the back strap to slip just a little bit more so it can plunge to the ground. Its a quality head strap that allows for better play.

This is somewhat more comfortable than the basic strap included on the Quest 2. The ratcheting tightening mechanism is much better than the sliding clips the basic one has. Its easier to put on and take off, as well, since you dont have to stretch elastic, and the padding is nice and soft. That being said, it still slips around on my head when I play even moderately active games, such as Pistol Whip. If I tighten it down far enough to stay still, the pressure is too much. Also... I dont want to say its flimsy, but I managed to pop one of the pivot joints apart trying to take it off my headset, since I put it on backwards once. Theres a note that says be careful to get the right and left sides straight, but it didnt seem to say how to identify the right and left (there are small letters stamped in the plastic near the swivels.) The joint went back together alright and seems to work, but yeah. Careful with this strap if you need to take it back off, more moving parts means more parts to break. Anyways, Im moderately happy with it. It is an improvement, even if its not quite perfect. Ill use it for a bit and then consider another strap, maybe.

I have ordered 2 different styles from Meta and each one gives me a horrible headache and imprints on my forehead. I ordered another one on Amazon which just didnt fit well. This one is GREAT! Because it has foam padding on both the back and top, it provides a very comfortable fit without having to tighten it so much. 5 Stars!

My best friend of almost 20 years and I started playing Golf+ together to stay connected, since we live 12 hours away from each other. He recommended I purchase an upgraded head strap and couldn’t ignore the reviews on this one. No regrets. It’s easy to install and adjust, and it’s very comfortable to wear. My battery usually dies before i feel any fatigue having the bulky Quest 2 attached to my face. Well worth it.
