> 3 dayVery handy when changing outlets and switches. Comes with batteries and out of the packaging you are ready to go. I have dropped mine a few times and it still works. Very accurate. Gets the job done

> 3 dayThese two together are a far better value than you will find at a local store. The plug wiring checker is awesome, if you have to replace even one outlet this tool alone will ensure that you didnt mess the wiring up.

> 3 dayWorks perfectly, just wish it was louder. The alarm sound is very low than standard testers. Dont know if I just received a bad one. Working in the field, I need the loud sound because I can hear which circuit Im working on as Im switching breakers on and off in a separate room instead of walking back and forth with each shut off.

Greater than one weekThis is a very good product, I have several of these testers when tracing circuits in control panels with combinations of high and low voltage, this tester works extremely well I don’t have a need for the tester you plug into the socket because I test everything out other ways. This is a fantastic tool and it’s a very reputable company you will not go wrong with this

> 3 daySince my previous dimmer broke I wasnt 100% sure what breaker the lights were connected to. I couldnt turn the lights on and flip breakers. I invested in this non-contact voltage tester. Glad I did, safety first. I got a minor zap years ago. I plugged in a light in my dinning room, flipping breakers until it turned off. Only the ceiling light above was on another circuit labeled garage! My advice, play it safe, TEST and make sure the power is really off. This is an inexpensive device that can save your life. I wish the probe was longer, I tested it on the old dimmer switch with the power on it it showed power off. I had to unscrew the old dimmer, pull it out some, so I could get the probe closer to the wires. This wasnt the case when testing a receptacle, just place the probe next to a hole and itll light up. Make sure you test on both sensitivity levels. The red 70-1000 didnt show voltage but the blue 12-1000. did. Auto-off feature is good for saving the battery.

> 3 dayI bought this test kit for a friend to use at her house when the need arises. Another electrician friend of mine recommended this kit and it came exactly as described. I would recommend this since it is a sturdy item and will surely stand up to homeowner abuse and use
