I bought these Klipsch RP-500M Reference Premiere Bookshelf Speakers to supplement my Dads old system. The seller delivered them without damage and on time. I have since added a Denon 7.2 AVR and a pair of Klipsch Reference Premiere Tower Speakers and a HSU subwoofer. My home theatre system sounds amazing. I just need to add a center speaker, another surround pair, and another subwoofer to complete the true 7.2 setup. When that happens Ill place these on the rear wall near the ceiling.

I bought these Klipsch bookshelf speakers to use in my sound studio workspace for streaming music on SiriusXM and using as alternate speakers for test mixes. I paired them with a David Hafler P3000 power amp and a Rotel preamp and I am totally blown away by how good these sound. My workspace is small and these were a perfect fit. The mids are nice and warm with crisp and focused highs paired with a perfect bass response for classical, jazz and chill music. Listening now as I am writing this review and amazed at the detail and separation.

Hard to imagine better sound at a lower cost. These RP-500s are paired with a 504C. The 504C is more efficient, 97dbs rather than 93dbs per watt on the RP500s. After compensating for output they pair nicely. My center adds full range lows that are not as strong on the 500s. That being said, for their size/price these are over achieving speakers that are very musical, dynamic and easy to listen to. I recommend.

Probably one of the easiest to listen to Klipsch speakers that arent fatiguing. Better than the series 2! Not the best Soundstage or imaging.

Very clean looking, clear sounding, loud. Quality you can see, touch, and hear. Make sure to pair with an amp/receiver of, at least, reasonable quality for best results. Currently using for a 2.1 setup, great imaging.

Ive been a fan of Klipsch since I got my R-15Ms a few years ago and I was excited to upgrade to the RP-500Ms. The RP-500Ms did not disappoint at all! The sound out of these speakers really packed a punch and the finish fit in great with the rest of my music room!

This pair of speakers will thrill you. Ive been a big fan of Klipsch for decades and I ugraded to this pair without any regrets! My 75 year old father couldnt believe his ears....he sat on my couch for hours listening to blues, jazz, C&W and classic rock through my Amazon HD subscription and thought he had gone to music heaven.....I agree. Maybe not the MOST dynamic Klipsch speakers compared to some of the larger floor models but certainly high quality, beautiful sound and easy to place in our home theater.

Cannot fault the Klipsch house sound. Not for everybody, but. it sure is for me!

These are audiophile grade speakers! The sound they produce is magnificent! I currently run them through a Marantz 1060 with a Chord Mojo DAC routing music from my Macbook Pro. I had the R-51ms before these and I liked them but they didn’t provide the soundstage or depth that these do as these are deeper cabinets. The soundstage is there along with the clarity, bass and efficiency. Also — these have a titanium tweeter versus the Aluminum design in the R-51m. If you are on the fence about these pull the trigger!!! You won’t be disappointed.

I wanted some small bookshelf type speakers and I heard that Klipsch were bright and in your face. They are just okay. I think they shine with only 1 genre of music, instrumental jazz. All other genres are just okay but there is something magical about instrumental jazz. I actually prefer my Andrew Jones Pioneers over these. There is a better frequency response from those (to my ear - YMMV) as an all around speaker. They also cost a fraction of the price. That said, they have good bass and pretty good highs. Mids are sloppy IMO. I am only playing these through a 100W tube amp with tone controls. There may be other applications that these are better suited for. I am glad I bought them on sale! YMMV
