> 3 dayI ordered a 6.5” to replace the stock windshield on my 18 FLHXS. I’m just about 6’. I always seem to get hit right in the eyes on stock bikes. Windshield arrived quick and really packaged well. Took me longer to unpack it than it did to install it. At 1st I thought it looked a bit tall. I got my tape out and woah... I was shocked that the measurement from the center hole to the top of the shield was 8.5”. I thought this has to be a mistake and they sent me a 8.5” by mistake. So I did some research and triple checked the box (which said 6.5” on it). It turns out they are measuring the 6.5” from the top of the dash to the top of the shield. Why they just don’t measure the actual shield makes zero sense to me. If you look at their website it’s showing 7” straight up with a tape measure, and etc. Go check it out you’ll see what I mean. Makes zero sense. Anyways sitting on the bike in the garage I still wasn’t sure. ..but bottom line... once I took it out for a ride I was extremely happy with it. Turns out it’s probably (close to) the perfect height. They could maybe have trimmed off 1/2”-1” and “I might” have liked it better, but as is... it’s great! Even made the bike handle better, and it was really windy when I took it out. Also noticed I could hear the tunes better too.

> 3 day100% recommend. Zero issues with install. I’m at 5’8 and can see passed the windshield perfectly.

> 3 dayWorks great. Can actually smoke a cig while riding bike. 100 times better than stock shield. I have put about five thousand in extras on bike so far and this is by far the best 150 I spent on bike. 2015 street glide.

17-11-2024total crap product. talked with the owner to confirm these are hand bent. one side bent over an inch lower than the other. stick with the windsplitter, youll be way happier at the same price point. klockwerks has a real good idea here but not enough money to execute a high quality final product. my last gripe is with the edge of this product appears raw, rough & unfinished compared to windsplitter. just a little ticked to have wasted my time with this windshield--hope this helps some of you not waster your time.

> 3 dayI have had these windshields in the past. They work great to deflect wind over the rider and passenger

> 3 dayI bought the 6.5”. It is a bit pricey but pushes the wind and bugs up and over. I can hear my music better. It’s a solid product. I love it so far.

> 3 dayGreat product. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I have a 2019 SG Special. I initially bought the 6.5 in, but then upgraded my seat to mustang and that put me higher about 1.25 in so I ordered the 8.5 in which is perfection! I’m 5’11” and air buffering is 10% compared to about 60% with stock 5 in windshield. If your are using stock seat (which I have no idea why you would), 6.5 is perfect if you are 5’7-5’11. If taller then order next up. Description said it’s supposed to de 2 in difference in height, but places side by side, I only 1.25 I’m heigh difference at most. Anyways, great product. Way better than buying a $200 wind shield at Harley with lower quality material.
