Easy to install but way too expensive

Looks and functions as advertised. Great improvement in ridability on 2017 Street Glide Special.

I own a 2018 Harley SGS Im 5.8 I went with the 6.5 blacked out flare to match my vivid blackedout bike. I initially installed it and had a gap left and right side so I looked back at the instructions and it states start with the outside bolts first hand tightened each equally however, still an issue not until I applied a little pressure on the edge of the shield buckling it a little while using my are to apply pressure on the trim and tighten left to right did I was able to eliminate both gaps. Its tricky but the windshield fits you have to work at it a little to get it perfect. As for the riding now why didnt I get it sooner its like a different bike way more enjoyable at higher speeds over 50+ also, no more helmet buffeting and I can hear my stock radio super clear now. I give it 5 stars for quality I didnt want to go with a $30 alternative that isnt even close to the stock one for safety and quality. Klock werks should update their instructions with some troubleshooting Incase people run into the same issue as me I didnt think a gap of about 1/8th of an inch was normal yes its tricky but dont give up I went back and started over and follow the instructions to the key still had a gap again keep bolts loose hand tighten equal apply a little buckle pressure at each end to give it a bow curve tighten at same time using your left arm to keep pressure on the trim do this Incase you run into same issue as me

Im not easily impressed but this shield surpassed all expectations. Bought it today came home,put it on and went for a fifty mile ride. I looked for semis on the highway just to pass them. At eighty-five no buffeting. Really. Dont normally drive that fast but had to check it out. If you dont have one on your Ultra Classic youre running the wrong one. 8.5 will work with windshield bags but not the 6 inch. Im 59 and can see over the 8.5 ni problem.

Was hoping turbulence behind screen was going to be better it is slightly still has shutter on forehead

I still feel the head shake 2021 street glide. Better to go to a dealer to try 1st. I will probably order a 8.5 Im 59... it is better but still the shake

wobbles in your line of vision and squeaks. needs to be wider at the bottom

I purchased the tinted 11.5” because I m 6’3” and wanted more protection and less wind buffeting however the distortion due to the curvature of the windshield made it impossible for me to look through the windshield. You can obviously see through it but not good enough to ride safely. It seemed like a well made product but I couldn’t use it. I returned it with no issues.
