Klock Werks Flare for 2014-2023 FLH (8.5 Dark Smoke)

Happy with this wind shield so far. I’m 5’8” and it’s a pretty good height for me. I have to look through the odd shape going up hills a little, but my 5’11” spouse LOVE it! Says it makes a big difference in the amount of buffering she takes. I hear my radio much better and it looks great on my street glide. Installed in a couple minutes.

Im 64 and was having troubles finding a windshield that wasnt ridiculously large. This did the trick! It still adds hight but not in the ugly way most windshields do. Took 5 minutes to install and the buffering is gone! I love this windshield and really does change the way you will feel the wind and hear your radio!

Keep in mind why youre buying this. If its to keep wind off you in the winter months it works great. If a side gust hits you while doing 70mph it does make the bike a little unstable. Overall, I like it but removed it for the summer months. I plan on only using it when the biting cold hits.

I read some of the reviews and fully agree with the comments about the reduced wind noise. Also gave it only a 4 rating because of the price. Not cheap, but excellent quality. Im 6 and tested 3 different sizes. The 6.5 is plenty tall to reduce most of the wind and I can still see over the top. I tried the black version but did not like not being able to see close in front of me while riding. Not a big deal when out on the road but when turning or in small areas I found it difficult. Note that when installing the new windshield loosen all the screws and then reach inside along the bottom and gently push against the old windshield. This will help in clear the raised tabs inside the fairing and the windshield will lift right out. Buy it and enjoy it.

Great product but too tall for anyone probably under 58. Deflects the wind really well but you want to look over the windshield and not through it. Make sure you double check your line of sight before purchasing. If youre short like me and under 58 like I said just go with the 4 and youll be happy.

This windshield was exactly what I need to bring the shear line up over my face so I can ride comfortably at ANY speed and still listen to the radio.

My stock windshield on my Street Glide was giving me a headache. I had friends bragging about the Klock Werks so I thought Id get one but I wasnt sure how it was going to look on the bike. It came well packaged, it was in a small box within a bigger box. Easy install, looked better than I thought and it made my ride more pleasant. I made the mistake of getting the windshield first then a new seat which changed my sitting position. So I might need to get a taller windshield down the road. Its a great windshield and it does a great job deflecting the wind. and it looks great!

I was torn between this and the Memphis shades windscreen. Ended up with this one definitely improves wind bouncing off of my helmet. Riding on the Street Glide ST on a windy day I was essentially a bobble head. Definitely helped improve the ride experience.

Too flimsy with the 8.5 to much buffeting with the 6.5
