> 24 hourGreat printer, too bad Kodak keeps changing models. Nothing wrong with printer for Kodak to change. Now print supplies are hard to find for this model. Note all companies keep changing their models so everything is outdated.

> 24 hourMy actual rating is ZERO STARS. I was stupid enough to buy a second one and neither of them would feed paper and Kodak support is USELESS. Heres what happened... I bought this printer dock along with a camera and supplies in Dec 2007 for my wife. She used it maybe three times all year and it seemed to work OK. We go to use it in Nov 2008 and it wont feed the paper. I read through the troubleshooting section of manual and do everything it says to do - twice. No success. I contact Kodak support and the guy has me do it all over again. No success. Then he tells me that the warranty is up (it was supposed to be 12 months!) and that I could return it for service for only $[...] - yeah, right. I didnt want to just throw away all the supplies I bought for this thing, so (foolish me) I found it online at [...] for only $[...] and bought a brand new one. It wouldnt feed paper either. Kodak support gives me the same line, the same run-around, and ecost.com says I have to deal with the manufacturer. So now it looks like Im stuck with TWO of these useless, crappy, thin plastic pieces of junk and Im out about $[...] in all. Dont waste your money on this. Im off to buy a Canon Pixma instead. AAAARRRGGGHHH!

> 24 hourThis printer is useless. It will not properly feed the paper. One time the paper was jammed inside the printer and I could not get the paper out. I junked the unit after I used it 5 times!!

> 24 hourThis easyshare printer is not so easy. Total waste of money and wish I never bought it. I actually purchased it for my mother since she doesnt use a computer. Thought it would be easy for her to print her own pictures. I was wrong. First of all the cartridge it comes with only prints 5 photos. I couldnt believe it and felt so bad that she couldnt print more right from the start. So I bought a replacement cartridge. Total ripoff. The prices are outrageous and you cant just buy the cartridge, it also comes with the paper. Well for the price of only 50 prints I could have them printed up much cheaper at most stores. But then it gets worse. Finally the replacement cartridge comes and I install it. We dont even get to print one picture before it gets a paper jam. This was no ordinary easy to fix kind of paper jam though. There is no way into this printer dock to unjam the paper. It doesnt open. Take all the screws off that you can find and all you are left with is being screwed, it still dosent open. I couldnt get the printer cartridge back out because the paper was jammed in there which prevented anything from moving. This was total waste. I would have chosen a different camera for my mother and not paid extra to have the printer that came with this camera. If you are thinking about buying this printer to go with the camera you already have, dont waste your money. It is cheaply made and not easy to repair simple problems. The company is no help at all so dont think you can call customer service, they could care less and just suggest you send it in for repairs but they expect you to pay for everything.

> 24 hourI love the photos that I get from this printer. And I love having such high quailty photos at home so I can print 4x6 and walltes without going to the store. I also have trouble with the paper not feeding into the printer. I use a pencil eraser to push the paper through. It does not always work, but it works most of the time. I need something a little less smooth than an eraser, but I have not found that yet. I keep using the eraser method because the printer was too expensive to just get rid of it. I would rather have a better printer though.

51 and still going
> 24 hourI have had this printer for about 1 1/2 years. Prints very well for what it is. As for the paper and ink they do come bundled because it uses a specific photo paper unlike the cheap stuff in department stores. The ink cartrdige is a Dye Sublimation. It uses 4 passes to print the pictures. The fourth pass puts a clear coat on the pictures to make them smug proof as well as water proof. Some have said that it will not pick up paper after a while, this is true. The rubber pickup wheels will get dusty when not used they will also get a little glazed as any rubber product does when not used. All you have to do is take a Q-tip and some rubbing alcahol to them and clean them and the printer will work great once again. This printer is well under $100.00 and the prints cost roughly .25 each to print so factor that with you can take it anywhere and if you have a Kodak camera that will connect on top of it you can print pictures anywhere. I have taken mine on trips and have printed picture for friends and family before I leave to go home. Compared to Ink Jet technology it is MUCH BETTER. Ink jet printed pictures fade in a very short time cost of ink is no bargain either. I would reccomend this to anyone who wants to print 4 x 6 pictures that match the quality of any place tyyou would take your pictures to be printed. (Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens. ECT)
