Kodak EasyShare G610 Printer Dock

The printer works good, but I found out quickly that you can not just buy the ink cartridge. I find this VERY annoying considering I have plenty of photo paper and just need the ink, but the only way to purchase an ink cartidge for the printer is to buy the paper too!Something they forget to mention!!! Aggg.....so annoying!

Have to use with windows XP, but I new that going into this, my old easy share broke, this one worked great. I wish Kodak would support it with the deleloping cartridges and paper.

I am satisfied with the printer dock from Kodak. It has one flaw; the paper isnt pulled in correctly. I found out how to make it work, I like having my pictures developed right away to view.

My actual rating is ZERO STARS. I was stupid enough to buy a second one and neither of them would feed paper and Kodak support is USELESS. Heres what happened... I bought this printer dock along with a camera and supplies in Dec 2007 for my wife. She used it maybe three times all year and it seemed to work OK. We go to use it in Nov 2008 and it wont feed the paper. I read through the troubleshooting section of manual and do everything it says to do - twice. No success. I contact Kodak support and the guy has me do it all over again. No success. Then he tells me that the warranty is up (it was supposed to be 12 months!) and that I could return it for service for only $[...] - yeah, right. I didnt want to just throw away all the supplies I bought for this thing, so (foolish me) I found it online at [...] for only $[...] and bought a brand new one. It wouldnt feed paper either. Kodak support gives me the same line, the same run-around, and ecost.com says I have to deal with the manufacturer. So now it looks like Im stuck with TWO of these useless, crappy, thin plastic pieces of junk and Im out about $[...] in all. Dont waste your money on this. Im off to buy a Canon Pixma instead. AAAARRRGGGHHH!

This is the second Kodak printer dock that I have purchased and they both stopped feeding the paper after a few months! I am VERY disappointed in Kodak. Since it appears that this was a problem with earlier docks, it should have been fixed with later models. I guess I should have researched this before buying the second dock, but I assumed it was because I left the paper tray inserted into the dock for an extended period of time. I made sure not to do that with this one and it still stopped feeding the paper! I have to say that they are easy to use and the pictures are awesome! However, contrary to what it says on the box, the ink runs out way before the paper does... and its NOT cheap... so you end up with LOTS of paper left over and no ink. I would not recommend Kodak docks to anyone and I will not purchase another one. They are way too expensive for no longer than they work!!

I was initially impressed with the quality of the pictures produce by the Kodak Easy Share Printer Dock. After I installed my second ink catride and printed one photo, I let it sit idle for 9 or more months. I expected the ink to be dried up when I attemped to print another photo. To my surprise it worked just fine. No loss of quality! I have also found that the best deals for refill kits are direct from Kodak!

Product works just like new and was priced at a reasonable cost. I would not hesitate buy again from supplier.

Great printer, too bad Kodak keeps changing models. Nothing wrong with printer for Kodak to change. Now print supplies are hard to find for this model. Note all companies keep changing their models so everything is outdated.
