Kodak EasyShare G610 Printer Dock

> 3 dayI had similar paper-feed problems as other reviewers, both with this printer and an earlier Kodak printer. I was stumped and ready to throw the thing out! I followed David Comleys suggestions about cleaning the rollers and voila, the printer works beautifully again. So it needs 2 minutes of maintenance every 6 months: it still produces great quality photos and I like the flexibility I get with the Kodak Easyshare software and the convenience of being able to print when I need the photos rather than sending them off to Shutterfly or a similar service.

> 3 dayI bought this printer, and it works flawlessly. Yes it only comes with a 5 page starter bundle. Ok, I bought the G200 picture pack for $54.00, free delivery, no tax. That works out to $ .27 per picture. Hey hop in your SUV spend $4.00 in gas to print 12 pictures at the kiosk at 15 cents a piece. times change, at a party, take some pictures, and print as many as you want for the family, and avoid the cost of 41 cents per stamp to mail to family. This printer really saves time and money. ps you can get this printer for about $65 from other linked vendors.

> 3 dayI bought the Docking station g610 Kodak EasyShare G610 Printer Dock and found out after I brought it home and read the instruction book, it requires a specific battery. Not the battery that ships with the z712 camera. (The CV3 battery is not recharge-able.) Youll need the

> 3 dayAfter just a few uses the dock only prints half a picture. Kodak wants $80 plus $10 shipping to fix it. I told them that I had only used it 4 times. They told me I could return it and get 15% off a new one. The question they could not answer was, Why would I buy another if the first one failed after so few uses? After reading other websites about this I found that I am not the only one with this problem. Kodak does not stand behind their warranties or their products. I am now going to get an epson which has great reviews.

> 3 dayThe printer works good, but I found out quickly that you can not just buy the ink cartridge. I find this VERY annoying considering I have plenty of photo paper and just need the ink, but the only way to purchase an ink cartidge for the printer is to buy the paper too!Something they forget to mention!!! Aggg.....so annoying!

> 3 dayI am writing this review in response to Amazon selling this printer, which Kodak says is discontinued, for well over the value of the equipment. Having priced the G610 printer dock from Kodak at Walmart (they are out of them as well) they were selling it for $79.00. The same dock not on sale at Staples sold for $159.00. So you are seriously telling me that this dock is worth more than the camera cost? I understand that you have the right to charge whatever you would like but I believe this is taking advantage of the client.

> 3 dayThis easyshare printer is not so easy. Total waste of money and wish I never bought it. I actually purchased it for my mother since she doesnt use a computer. Thought it would be easy for her to print her own pictures. I was wrong. First of all the cartridge it comes with only prints 5 photos. I couldnt believe it and felt so bad that she couldnt print more right from the start. So I bought a replacement cartridge. Total ripoff. The prices are outrageous and you cant just buy the cartridge, it also comes with the paper. Well for the price of only 50 prints I could have them printed up much cheaper at most stores. But then it gets worse. Finally the replacement cartridge comes and I install it. We dont even get to print one picture before it gets a paper jam. This was no ordinary easy to fix kind of paper jam though. There is no way into this printer dock to unjam the paper. It doesnt open. Take all the screws off that you can find and all you are left with is being screwed, it still dosent open. I couldnt get the printer cartridge back out because the paper was jammed in there which prevented anything from moving. This was total waste. I would have chosen a different camera for my mother and not paid extra to have the printer that came with this camera. If you are thinking about buying this printer to go with the camera you already have, dont waste your money. It is cheaply made and not easy to repair simple problems. The company is no help at all so dont think you can call customer service, they could care less and just suggest you send it in for repairs but they expect you to pay for everything.
